I thought I died.
I guess I didn't.
Now i'm stuck in this bed with nothing more to do than drown in my own thoughts.
I noticed that blonde girl, sitting in a chair across the room. She had noticed I was awake too, and smiled. "I'm Beth. My dad, the man that fixed you, that's Hershel."
I nodded slowly, "Hi."
She stood up, "I'll go tell him you're awake."
Before she could get to the door, a man walked in, he was older, he had longer white hair and a white beard. He was the man that fixed me. Hershel.
Behind him was the brown haired girl that looked a bit older than Beth.
"That's Maggie. Beth pointed to her. I gave her a small smile. . "Anyway, Ever's just resting, I could wake her-" I cut her off. "No, let her sleep I think she needs it." She nodded. And Rick stepped forward. "Carl got shot too, he's ok though, he's sorta in a coma." I waited for it to process. "Oh. Sorry about Carl." I responded, I'm not sure why I care so much, I guess I just do.

*A FEW DAYS LATER*

"C'mon you can do it!" Beth and Ever kept chanting. I laughed. They're trying to get me to stand, and they're so much fun too. I managed to gain my balance, "ohmigosh! You did it!" They practically yelled at the same time. I smiled, my wound had mostly healed so I could basically go back to normal again, Hershel said just give it a few more days and it would all be normal. Yesterday I had a splitting head ache, God knows why. "Oh, you're gonna be sleeping in this bed a couple more nights, then in the tents." I stopped. "Tents?" Beth looked surprised, "Ever, you didn't tell her?" Ever laughed. "Sorry I forgot, Hey Riley, were sleeping in tents, outside." Beth and I couldn't help but laugh. People with a sense of humor are always the best. "So, who am I sharing with?"
"I'll go ask Rick, because I honestly don't know." Ever responded. Beth helped me outside, and it felt great to feel the sun on my skin. Ever ran back over. "Rick explained to me."
"What?" Beth and I asked at the same time. "Well, Carl apparently is getting better and should be up by tomorrow, for now, me you and Sophia share a tent.. Here's the awkward part, when Carl's better, let's just say he's gonna have to share a tent with three girls.." I sighed. "Great.." Beth laughed. "You'll get used to it, I think anyways..."

* * *

It's been about 2 weeks, sharing a tent with Carl hasn't been that bad, the groups going strong, but, we've found a few things that no one knew before...
Lori is pregnant, Hershel thinks walkers are just sick people, so he has a barn full of them. Sophia got scared by gunshots and an into the woods. Shane exploded and killed all the walkers in the barn, and this is where we are now...

"Shane stop that's enough!" I yelled. I stood up and cocked my gun. "Shut up little girl." He mumbled. I narrowed my eyes. He shot out the last walker. We stood waiting in an intense silence for any straggling walkers. Small feet shuffled through the barn doors, revealing Sophia's body. Tattered clothes, and a big bite out of her neck. Carol started to run toward her, but Daryl held her back. I started to back up, I dropped my gun, and fell to the ground, letting the tears fall. Carol just kept screaming "Sophia! Sophia!" Helplessly on the ground, everyone stood in utter shock, nobody moved. Until Rick did what he had to do. He shot her, actually doing her a favor, that's how we refer to it now. I like that better.

* 2 DAYS LATER*

I was sitting alone in our tent, quietly, "hey you wanna go for a walk?" I jumped a little. It was Carl. "Oh- uh... Isn't it getting a little dark?" I asked, "nah, it won't be that bad, c'mon!"
"Bu-"
"No, let's go." I sighed.
"Alright... Fine..."

While we were walking we heard screams, Shane's scream. Then ricks. They were arguing... We got there just in time to see Rick kill Shane... Finally... Jesus, I thought it would never happen. Rick looked up, "I- he- he came at me Carl I had to.." But I blocked out there voices, and focused on the big heard behind us...
