THIS IS JUST A SMALL LITTLE FILLER CHAPTER UNTIL I HAVE TIME TO WRITE A FULL CHAPTER. IM SO SO SO SORRY I HAVENT UPDATED I FEEL V TERRIBLE. FORGIVE ME. K. THANKS.

"Grab the kids!" Someone screamed. I watched as small children and some women (ugh feminism.) were put in cells. "Riley." I turned to face Collin and jay. "You ready?" Jay said. I grinned. "Hell yeah." Collin tossed me some amo, I loaded my gun and raised it, shooting the first Walker I saw. I heard a familiar voice, calling for Madi to run. When I found the source of the voice, and watched as Ever ran towards Madi and Madi stood frozen while 2 walkers grew closer and closer to her. I ran up behind Madi and shot them and pulled her away, with Collin, Ever, and Jay close behind us. "Why didn't you run?!" I practically yelled. "You could've died!" She looked at the ground. "I-Uh.." I sighed. "I think you need some rest," by this time the cells were cleared out, leaving frazzled people, and tired out people. Ever Jay and Collin walked Madi back to her cell, and I walked up the stairs to the top floor of the Cell Block D cells, where Rick, Dr. S, Daryl, Hershel, and a few others stood crowded around a walker Patrick. "Fill me in." I said, jogging up to them. "Patrick, he was the first to turn. No bite marks, nothing." Doctor S started. "He said he wasn't feeling good during story time yesterday." Carol added. "It looks like a disease where blood flows from the eyes, ears, mouth and nose... (Couldn't remember the name of the disease lol) imagine this: you shake a coke can, only, your eyes, ears, nose, and mouth, is the top." My eyes widened. "Ew." Someone else whispered. "It's not contagious though, right?" I asked letting out a shaky breath. "I've seen this on animals before, it's usually contagious. I've just.. Never seen it on people before." I sighed. "So anyone in here... Were exposed?" I asked. "Basically. Try to stay away from anyone that wasn't in here, ok?" Hershel said to everyone. "The pigs, the mother, she didn't look to good, maybe it came from her?" Rick asked. "Probably so." Hershel sighed. I shook my head and walked down the stairs and out the cell block. Carl ran up to me but I backed away and walked into the look out tower, offering no explanation.

•Ever's P.o.v.•

I couldn't understand why Riley hadn't been more sympathetic with Madi, but I guess sometimes you can care too much. I noticed her in the guard tower, and wondered what was wrong with her. Jay ran up behind me. "Hey." He said smiling. "Hia" I responded without turning around. "Look- Uh Hershel told me what started the incident. I think you might wanna go talk to him.." This time- I turned around. "Why can't you tell me?" I asked. "Well- I think you should just hear it from a professional.."
"Um- ok?"

So, a contagious sickness. Maybe that's why Riley was so upset and in the guard tower. It was getting late so I decided to go to Riley and I's cell. Maybe I could talk to her. I walked into our cell, Riley was laying on the top buck starring at the ceiling. "I talked to Hershel." I began. "Good." She said quietly. "Are you ok?" I asked. "well, you answer that question." She responded. I sighed realizing that I wasn't going to get a good answer today. "Well, I'm going to bed."
"K"
"Goodnight."
"Night."
It was only when I settled into the uncomfortable cell bed, when I began coughing. I looked down at my hands. They were covered in blood. I looked up to yell for Riley but she was already standing next to me starring wide eyed.
