My Hero Academia - Some Things Change

Todoroki woke up not long after the three of them fell asleep. He got up to get a glass of water and noticed them all by the wall. He quickly pulled out his phone and took a picture. Bakugo and Deku had both slumped over so that their heads were on All Might's shoulders.

"Adorable." Yaoyorozu scared a spark of fire out of him. She patted his arm. "Sorry, I didn't mean to scare you. I woke up and couldn't go back to sleep."

"Another nightmare?" She looked surprised. "I overheard you talking to the girls recently. Sorry, it wasn't my intention to eavesdrop."

She gave him a small smile. "It's okay, and yeah. I guess today was a little rattling is all."

He hugged her, holding her as tightly as he could without hurting her. "I can't believe it's only been a few weeks since that battle." He suddenly pulled away, his face flushed. "Um, are we supposed to be, like, boyfriend and girlfriend now? I mean, I'm just confused about all of this. Things have been so crazy with school and we haven't really had time to hang out and I miss you and I haven't held your hand or kissed you since the day after and if we are boyfriend and girlfriend then that means I've been doing a terrible job at it and--!"

Yaoyorozu cut off his rambling by kissing him on the cheek. "I think someone has been studying with Deku a little too much," she giggled. "Do you want to be boyfriend and girlfriend?"

"No."

"Huh?" Yaoyorozu cocked her head at him.

"The word 'girlfriend' is insufficient. I have girls that are my friends, but none of them are precious to me like you are. I love them like family, but the love I feel for you is--?"

"Toodoroki?" She put a hand on his arm. "How about we settle with telling people that we're dating and we won't use the terms 'boyfriend' and 'girlfriend', okay?"

He nodded. "So then, since we're dating, this would be appropriate?" He kissed her so deeply it made her dizzy.

She pulled back and laughed. "You gotta warn a girl before you do something like that." She pretended to fan herself.

He looked confused. "Did I do it wrong?"

She laughed again and shook her head. "No, just calm it down a little." She put her arms around his neck. "And Todoroki?"

"What is it?"

"I love you too." She leaned in and kissed him sweetly before resting her head on his shoulder. "We should try to get some sleep. Tomorrow is probably going to be a long day."

Uraraka woke up first in the morning. She sleepily rubbed her eyes, trying to remember how she'd ended up where she was. She blushed furiously as a memory came back to her. She had been nodding off during the ghost stories. She'd been so tired she fell asleep sitting up in the middle of the floor. The memory was a little foggy, but she was pretty sure that Deku had picked her up and put her to bed on one of the floor mats on the side designated for the girls.

She looked around the room as she stood up and stretched. Her classmates were sprawled out everywhere. She froze when she saw Bakugo and Deku. All Might had left at some point and the two young men were sleeping with their heads and shoulders leaning against each other. She pulled out her phone and took a picture. If only Bakugo wasn't so proud. They would be the best friends in the whole world.

Bakugo started to stir. Oh no, if he wakes up first, he's going to kill Deku! His eyes opened all the way and he sat up straight, causing Deku's head to fall onto his shoulder. Bakugo exhaled, then he noticed Uraraka. It was like his usual personality had been asleep until he realized that someone might see him being nice.

He glared at Deku. "Hey! Did I say you could use me as a pillow!?!"

Deku shot upright. "What? Oh! I'm so sorry! How did I even get all the way over here? Have you seen All Might? He was here last night."

"The hell would I know where that scatterbrain is!?!"

Hali sat up and blinked sleepily. She put a hand under Bakugo's chin and turned his head towards her. "So noisy," she said before kissing him, in front of what was about half of the class now. She pulled back and stretched her arms before snuggling against his shoulder and going back to sleep. The whole room was speechless. Deku and Uraraka were both blushing furiously and staring at the ground.

Mr. Aizawa walked into the room. "What're you all doing? The school's not going to rebuild itself you know. Get dressed and report to the main building."

"Yes sir!" several of the students responded as he walked out of the dorm.

"I'm really sorry guys," Hali addressed them.

"Don't worry about it! This kind of stuff happens all the time here, right?!?" Mina held a hand out to her friend. "Let's go have some fun!"

Hali took her hand and smiled. "Okay, let's do it!"
