Hali was sitting at one of her dorm's dining tables when she sensed an angry aura approaching the dorm. Interesting...he's never come over here before...She had a flashback to when they had kissed after he was injured in an attack on the school (the one before she attacked it). We've been so busy with school, training, and work studies that we haven't hardly run into each other since the beach...

He stomped up to her table and slammed a palm down on to it, right next to her tray. Students ran out of the room as fast as they could.

"Careful, Bakugo. You wouldn't want to explode a poor, helpless table, now would you?" she teased him.

"How do you feel about me!?!"

Hmm...why would he ask such a thing? "What do you mean?" She found herself blushing slightly, despite normally being able to keep her composure perfectly.

He looked her straight in the eyes. The force of the fire in them nearly took her breath away. "You know exactly what I mean!"

She lowered her eyes from his burning ones. "Oh, you already know that."

He slammed his palm on the table again. "No! I know what feeling you 'impress' to me, I don't know how you feel!"

"Yeah, well, it's not like you've ever told me how you feel either!"

He set his mouth in a firm line, then leaned forward, putting a hand around one of her arms as if he thought she would run. He put his other hand on the side of her face. "Well, that's easy." He leaned in and she thought he was going to kiss her, but instead he spoke into her ear so only she would hear him. "I...don't hate you."

She laughed, startling him a little. She reached up and cupped his face in her hands, tears in the corners of her eyes. "Bakugo..."

"Tch. Alright, fine. I love you! There, you happy now?!?"

She chuckled at his stubbornness, the tears flowing now. "What? Did I say it wrong?" He reached up to wipe her tears, but she shook her head.

"Don't, you'll only make it worse." She leaned in and kissed him before resting her head against his chest. She gripped his shoulders, still crying. "I love you too." She managed to get out between sobs.

"Hey." He put a hand under her chin and gently raised her head so she was eye-to-eye with him again. "Hali..."

"I love you, Bakugo!" She wrapped her arms tightly around him. After a moment he did the same, resting his forehead against hers.

He stepped back a little so he could lower his head to look at her face before releasing his hold on her to wipe her tears. Just as she'd said, the action of wiping her tears made her cry more. He chuckled slightly and put a hand under her chin, making her raise her head again. He brushed her hair out of her face, then took one of her hands and made her go sit on a couch with him.

Once he had her sitting comfortably snuggled into him, he asked her, "Why were you crying?" Her tears had abated to sniffles from the distraction of walking to the couch.

"It's just, ever since my Quirk manifested, no one has ever asked me how I feel."

"What?!?" Bakugo almost yelled in disbelief.

"No one felt the need to, since you can usually tell by touching me, and I always try to wear a smile, so--"

"That doesn't make it okay! Just because someone is smiling doesn't mean that they are fine!" He huffed, "Or something like that, I think."

She smiled slightly at him. "Yeah, it's something like that."

He cocked his head at her. She's still sad...A devilish grin spread across his face.

"Um, Bakugo? What're you thinking?"

"Payback time." He tickled her mercilessly until they fell off of the couch from her trying to wiggle away. He hit his head on the coffee table. "Ow!"

She sat up quickly. "Are you okay?"

He shifted to a sitting position, rubbing the back of his head. "Yeah, I have a hard head, so that was nothing."

They sat in silence for a few moments. "You should probably get back to your dorm before Mr. Aizawa comes looking for you."

"Yeah, I guess." He stood up and held a hand out to help her up.

"Thank you." She hugged him once she was back on her feet. A tickling sensation started to creep up his neck. "Quit it," he said, nuzzling her nose with his like she was always doing to him.

She giggled and rested her forehead against his. "Thank you, Bakugo."

"Any time." He kissed her briefly and started heading toward the exit, but stopped. Hali?

"Yeah?"

He smirked. Gotcha again, witch.

She stuck her tongue out at him. "Not a witch."

He dropped the smirk. "Would you, uh, well, would you like to eat lunch together? I know we're both pretty busy right now but lunch might be doa--" Hali?

She wiped the tears that had started to form again. "I'm sorry. Yes, I'd love to have lunch with you."
