"They seem to be having fun. Should I interrupt it again?" Slade asked respectfully.

(Unknown female voice)

"No, let them have their fun. Don't you think that they deserve it? This is what Beast needs! Can she just have an ounce of fun for once? Who knows, she may hold my spot someday don't you agree?"

"Yes... but."

"No buts! Allow her to unwind. Focus on the new potentials that I've had you scout the other day! This is your new task, your new mission. I lost one Scathe assassin, Jelick, you know her right? Of course you do, now you must produce me two!"

"Yes... as you wish." Slade said in compliance to the true head of Scathe. He didn't like the idea of the girls being reckless. However other than two, favored by the unknown female... his daughter Revenger and Beast, everyone in Scathe were expendable, including him!

"We will retreat to Afghanistan in three days! Hussain left us a glorious castle overlooking the Arabian Sea! Lovely... don't you agree?" The mysterious voice said as she blew a plum of cigarette smoke into Slade's face and chuckled.

"Yes, it will be exquisite! Slade answered as they watched the girls every move from the security cameras in the 'safe' spot he arranged.

"Huh... 'Who do you love... are you for sure?" The unknown voices said as she moved like Raven to the music, mimicking her to a tee.

"Yes young Beast, who do you love? Yes, that's right, you love somebody. To have a child and actually want to keep him, you must have loved someone before, hum."

Slade didn't say a word. He knew the young man that Beast was in love with. But he felt in his heart that he couldn't give up the ghost!

He needed leverage, so he remained silent as he was very entertained, observing the unknown female swaying her perfect body to the diluted tunes they both heard through the surveillance equipment.

'The less you know, the better! I will come out on top, I always do... bitch!'

I sat there while Vic asked Terra a few- of- a lot more questions! It's getting dark, and I started to get, I dunno... worried. The longer I was here, the longer I wasn't with Raven! I mean, how many other versions of what happened can the woman give to explain how she'd got her ass handed to her... jeeze!

I saying, surely he can see it literally written all over her face, ugh!

I then looked at Dill, him laughing at the vulgar cartoon on the television as Brian the way too intelligent dog tried to hit on Lois the human, again! Ugh... Family Guy! Very inappropriate for a kid his age, but who am I to judge.

Why does she let him watch this sh...wait.

Wait! What if I'm here and QB brings my Jr. home!! I just told Dill that he could crash at my place until Terra got better! How am I going to explain my son to... well my son, and vice versa?

What will Jr. think about Dill? Would he think that I didn't want him? That I didn't love him? That I'd replaced HIM!!

Oh hell, I didn't think that through thoroughly.

I can't take it back now. Dill can't go to his grandparents because they lived in Italy now, and he'd think that I was trying to push him off because of Terra!

I can't think about that right now. I have to go! I need to get home, even if it was just for a second.

"Well I think that's it for now. We have to get to HQ to see what's going on there." I said trying to hurry Vic along.

"HQ... yes! She wanted me to take her in the building, and I did! She said something about not being able to get in, and she said that her father wanted information on Jillian's murder. She said that she knew that I could get in because of my ties to him, and when we got there, she broke down crying and ran to the ladies room. Come to think of it... she never came out with me.

"How can you not notice a whole Asian woman that came in with you, leave without you Terra?" I asked already knowing the answer. She was probably flirting with the new dude up front.

"I was talking to the new security guard. We've made some dinner plans for next Friday, and I just didn't think about it! I had to go get Dylan and his friends from soccer practice, and...

Nailed it!

My anger has reached it's breaking point with this female, and without even knowing, I interrupted her.

"Urgh! See that's the problem Terr! You never see the big picture! With just that one move, another stupid, selfish decision made on your part, not only did it caused the death of another agent... in the ladies room at HQ, but the so called 'cousin' also killed the informant of the very organization that murdered Jillian! The one we're trying to stop!" I stood frustrated, turning my back towards her, running my hands through my hair, on the verge of pulling it out, then said...

"Oh and did I forget to mention, they also killed like half of your neighbors, right along with Mrs. Gerry and Mandy!"

"Wha...no...no you're lying! How was I supposed to know she'd do these things?" She said as tears flowed down her disgusting face.

"Uh, it's called using your head other that being a Bobbitt Terra. I mean, come on! A strange female, that bears no resemblance to Jillian what's so ever, comes out of the blue and starts asking for favors on an open FBI investigation... really!" Vic chimed in, also furious about her response, and lack of giving a fuck.

I'm sorry... but I really hate her right now!

She's forever thinking of her own ass end and never about how it affects the others around her, including her own kid! I narrowed my eyes at her, while Vic continued...

"So, uh yeah... he's not lying Terra. The first place Dill ran to was Mrs. Gerry and Mandy, then were shot in cold blood, then to BB... non-stop, at seven years old, all night because he was scared beyond his limits! Just ask him, ask Dill. Would you think he's lying?"
