I walked through the chaotic resemblance that was left by my cuz... the Beast. I mean someone had to clean the mess that was left behind. And just like I knew my father, I was bestowed the dreaded honor, while I witnessed him leave with my Ivy! I had the underlings pull Capricorn's dead flesh out of the arena before he stunk up the place, while my wheels turned.

'I can't believe this shit! My father ... right now is probably having the time of his pathetic life with my Ivy, while I'm here, Scathe's new clean-up crew. I am so much better than this. I won't be belittled by Slade anymore. I won't be dismissed by him nor Ivy anymore! I will be the victor of this hell I was born into. I mean, he killed my mother right in my face! He raped me more times that I can count, and beat the hell out of me, like I was a grown ass dude. Now he has the one person that I called my very own and is enjoying himself as I know he is.

Ivy is very skilled.

I knew what I had to do! I need my family... my real family! I need to get to Red before she was escorted to the Beast!

It's my only way to insure that I was safe. Beast seems to love this girl. She even killed one of her mentors for her! So now, I have leverage... I must go to Red, to keep the Beast in control.

I was in and out of consciousness. Every inch of my body hurts, but it's starting to feel a little better. I don't know why I feel like I've had a few glasses of Chardonnay, very bubbly and relaxed, but I did. As I drifted off again for the millionth time, I saw...

'Mommy, why am I going to TT QB's tonight? My little one asked with her hand on her hip. Very sassy that one, ta-he-he.

'Well, it's mommy and daddy date night. You understand right? Your dad and I don't get a lot of time to have fun, so TT QB agreed to keep you for a little while so daddy and I can watch a movie together.'

'You and daddy are so weird, ha-ha.' I laughed with my sweet daughter.

'Yes... the weirdest!' I replied looking at my husband doing some stupid dance with the remote in one hand, and two packs of microwave popcorn in the other. I love my family! I couldn't ask for anything more in my life!

'So... who's ready for a late-night trip to the mall? We are going to spend all your dad's money, right Ric?'

'Yeah... whatever you say, I just ready to 'pop' this popcorn! Have a real good time girls. Kori Star Grayson... shall we have... 'the fun!' Ric did that thing that people do with their eyebrows, wiggling them- I think that's what it is, attempting to do... the flirt. He always picked at my accent, and it was cute. I giggled knowing what he was referring to, but I wanted to continue the vigilance in front of Mar'i, knowing as soon as they left, the popcorn and movie would be happening much of the later.

'Well you loves have a great time, and don't be too upset if your baby comes back full of sugar, just saying.' QB said then she and Mar'i rushed out the door, leaving me alone with my beloved husband.

Ric wrapped his arms around me and started to rock back and forth to the music of our hearts.
