Silent Nightmare

I'm Dead...Leon.

 "Rebecca help me lift him up! We need to take him back to the bus, he's bleeding too much!" Jill shouts as she tries to lift him up off the ground. Rebecca scurries to her and lifts Chris up by his shoulders, Jill at his feet.

"We need to hurry. We will have to go through the long way up. We can't climb with him." Jill says trying to calm herself down.

They begin slowly walking into the bushes and trees. Blood begins gushing out of Chris' wounds, dripping down his arms and body to the ground. As they carry him Rebecca nearly loses her grip on him, her hand soaked in his blood.

"Jill. Jill. Jill!" Rebecca screams at her. Jill looks at Rebecca startled as she stops moving.

"What?! Why did you stop? We need to keep going!" She screams back anxiously trying to hold up Chris.

"We can't make it to the bus like this, one of us needs to go and get the medical supplies to help him." Rebecca says in a calm voice as she looks up the cliff.

"We can make it! We just need to be faster. We can!" Jill shouts out.

"Jill! I'll go get the medical supplies. I'm more swifter and faster. I'll be back fast! Keep pressure on his wounds!" Rebecca shouts as she begins to climb the rocks. Nearly to the top she looks back down and sees Jill talking to Chris, holding down on his wounds. She looks back up and climbs faster.

"I can't let you both down." Focused, she squints her eyes as she clears her mind as she reaches the top and stands tall.

Immediately she starts to run out of the woods passing the Jeep onto the street. As she is about half way off the road a car screeches. She looks to the left and see's a bus hitting the brakes. She stops, shocked. The bus speeding attempts to stop, but begins to flip over and over towards her. She opens her eyes wide as the bus flips one last time and bounces into the air flipping towards her, she turns around and begins to run away from it. 'NO!' She screams as the bus lands on top of her. And flips once last time off of her.

Her body pops, blood exploding in every direction. Splattering the road with her blood and intestines. Her body nearly flat against the concrete ground. A pool of blood around her. Blood covering the bus' windows. A little girl opens the bus door and walks out. She looks at the body and smiles.

Rebecca manages to climb to the top of the hill and rushes out of the woods passing the Jeep and onto the street, she dashes over the road and begins to run down the hill. She passes where Nicolai's deceased body was, only to see his corpse gone. She barely notices the debris in front of her, she trips over it and tumbles the rest of the way down the hill. She hits the ground with a loud thud, she looks around. Her head begins to spin, she nearly falls trying to get up. She stumbles towards the bus.

"Where did I put the supplies?" She says to herself as her head goes back to normal.

She walks inside the bus and see's Cybil laying on the ground. "Cybil.." She says in a low tone.

She walks over to her and see's the medical supplies in the bag. She grabs it and walks out of the bus, she begins to run up the hill. Suddenly she hears twigs snapping in the woods next to her. She stops and cautiously looks around her. She shakes her head as she continues to run.

"No way in hell I'm stopping. I have to get this to Chris." She says to herself as she curiously looks over her shoulder. She see's a figure move behind a tree. She stops and nervously calls out.

"Hello?" No reply.

She shakes her head again and continues to run, she manages to make it to the top and begins to rush over the road. Immediately from the woods more and more snapping twigs are heard behind her. Startled she looks back and in the dark woods see's a dozen shadow figures watching her.

"What in the world?" She asks curiously.

She stays still for what seems like hours, she takes a small step and the creatures slowly take a step out of the shadowy tree's into the open.

"Oh no." She quietly whispers to herself.

Monsters.

Three Armless creatures with a hole in the chest and black bubble liquid oozing out of the center. No face. Body made of complete silky dead brown veiny skin. It begins to moving slowly, swaying itself around, limping on their legs towards her.

Four Zombies. Crawling, limping, swaying towards her.

One Licker. An animal like creature with no way of seeing and are capable of immense power and will attack with full on claws, tongue, and teeth. They are made of pure muscle tissue and are highly capable of performing high jumps and distances and moving.

Two Rompers. A large ape-like creature with two large staples for for eyes. And has tube-like bandages dangling from its slit shaped mouth.

"Dear God." She says with all the air escaping her lungs. She takes one more small step back and crunches on a leaf.

The creatures all roar and scream as they trample towards her. She screams as she begins walking backwards shooting at the Armless creatures, then the Licker.

She turns back around and starts to run downwards to Jill. She takes a glance back and trips over a rock. She falls face first to the ground and begins rolling down. She smashes her shoulder into a tree causing her to stop, she looks around and hears the roaring continuing.

She gets up and begins limping away. A Romper thrashes through the bushes next to her and bashes her stomach. Sending her soaring backwards towards the street. She hits the ground, gasping for air. She slowly gets on all fours, holding her stomach. She looks back and see's another Romper charging towards her. Wide-eyed she forces herself up and tries to move out the way, but the Romper chargers into her with its shoulder sending her bursting through the bushes and rolling into the middle of the street.

Spitting out blood she gasp for air, looking around her see's the creatures circle her. The Licker in the tree in a pouncing position. The armless creatures swaying back and forth. The zombies eyeing her hungry. The Rompers stomping their feet onto the ground menacingly.

Pain in her legs she begins shaking as she clutches the medical supplies bag to her chest. Blood flowing out of her nose and mouth onto the bag she wipes away the blood the back of her hand and wipes it on her uniform.

The zombies begin limping fast towards her, she tries to pull out her handgun. But doesn't feel it in her holster.

"No." She says as she trembles.

The zombies within a few feet from, she closes her eyes.

"Jill....Chris. I'm so sorry. I failed you both. Please forgive me." She says to herself as tears begin to fall from her watery eyes, mixing in with the blood.

Gun shots are heard in the air. Rebecca slowly opens her eyes and see's the zombies on the ground dead. Stunned she looks around and sees someone in the woods near her.

The stranger walks out of the woods. Rebecca's face brightens up as her bruised eye lid slowly opens up.

"Leon...."
