🍰 Part 12: Chaotic Lunch time

♡ Elena's pov:

When the dumb cat (+ his other dumb friends) started fighting the delinquents , I decided to pay for the food I owed Ace and Deuce, then I had to pay for all that food Grim wanted (which was not cheap by the way, my poor wallet). Then I patiently waited on the side of the cafeteria with the tray of food in my hands, just casually watching some classmates getting beat up by a fire breathing cat. Peak entertainment for me, when the 2 students finally gave up, Grim immediately flew towards me to snarf up all the food that was waiting for him.

I instinctively pulled the tray of food away from the hungry cat and quickly said.
"No, you will not eat until we have found a decent place to sit."

"But Elenaaaaaaa I'm so hungry." Grim whined.

"No."

Ace sighed.
"Fine, fine! Let's quickly find a spot." He said as he grabbed my jacket and dragged me away to find a table.

We finally found a clean place to eat in the cafeteria and we all started to dig into the food. I just had an apple cause I wasn't really hungry, but I could tell Grim was practically starving.

"Let's eat!" He shouted happily as he started to devour his meal. Ace and Deuce also started chow down on their own respective meals, they all looked super happy as if they had no care in the world.

"So," I started. "Those students are in the same dorm as you? But what are the names of the other dorms?" I questioned, I was genuinely curious. What did the other colors on students uniforms mean? I assume it signifies what dorm they were in, but the only dorm I knew was Heartslabyul.

"You know about the Great Seven statues displayed on Main Street, right?" Asked a cheerful voice. When we all turned our heads to the direction of the speaker. We realized it was Cater, with another Heartslabyul student. He was pretty tall, had ivy green colored hair, dark gold eyes, and a pair of black rimmed glasses.

"There's 7 of them." Cater continued as he put an arm around my shoulder, both of the students sit  down next to us. "So there are 7 dorms."

"Geh!" Ace exclaimed. "You're the guy from this morning!"

Grim growled at Cater angrily as he wiped the egg from his face.
"You tricked us into painting those roses from you."

"Saying I tricked you is so mean. I wasn't doing it because I wanted to." He sighed.

"Tch as if." I muttered as I grabbed his wrist and threw it off my shoulder.

"It's just how things are done in our dorm." He quickly remarks as he adjusted himself in his seat.

Wow what a reasonable excuse! Do your own chores you lazy bag of bones.

Deuce stared at Cater with a monotone expression.
"You were grinning all the while....."

"Now, now, Deuce-chan. Those rules are only for inside the dorm so now I'm just your kind upperclassman." He smiled, not the type of smile to trust in my opinion.

"D-drop the "chan"!" The blue haired student dropped his spoon as he said that.

The student with the glasses chuckled.
"That's just how Cater shows affection."

"Who's that dude?" Ace looked at Cater as he pointed at the other Heartslabyul student.

"Ace, it's rude to point at people." I said as I quickly grabbed his finger and lowered it.
