🍰 Part 13: Ace gets into more Trouble

♡ Elena's pov:

"Eh? Dorm Leader!" Ace shouted in shock as he stares nervously at the angry red head.

"Oh my, Riddle. You're super crazy cute today~" Cater immediately replies, trying to tone down the situation (which did not work).

"Hmph. Cater, if you talk too much it's going to cost you your head." Riddle replies coldly, he is absolutely pissed at Ace.

Cater smiles nervously.
"Hey now, gimme a break!"

"Ffgna!" Grim yelps "This is the guy who put that weird collar on me during the entrance ceremony!"

No duh Grim.
I thought to myself as I got ready to see Riddle scold Ace.

"And you're the freshmen that caused all that fuss of expulsion yesterday. Will you knock it off, calling someone's unique magic a "weird collar"? For goodness sake, the headmaster is soft. If you forgive rule breakers, the whole system will collapse. All you have to do is cut the heads of those who don't follow the rules."

"The things coming out his mouth doesn't suit his looks..." Ace mutters in annoyance as his eyes avoided Riddle's cold blue ones.

"The headmaster appears to have forgiven you, but make no mistake. The next time it happens I will not."

"...By the way, dorm leader, is there any way... you could say, to remove this collar?" Ace asks in his usual happy voice.

Riddle glared at him.
"I was going to if you learned your lesson but, the way you were just talking shows that you have not. Keep it on a while longer."

I (again) mentally slapped myself, Ace is such an idiot if he actually wants to get that damn collar off his neck, he should behave himself.

"Don't worry, as first years you'll only be learning fundamentals, not actually using magic. You also won't be able yo cause a scene like yesterday, isn't that great?" He says sarcastically. "Now don't just sit around chatting away, go finish you lunch and head to your next class. Laws of the Queen of Hearts, No. 271: "One should eat lunch and leave their seat within 15 minutes"."

That's when I actually wanted to scream,
IS THERE REALLY 271 RULES?!? IS THERE MORE THAN THAT? THIS IS CRAZY! HOW MANY SMALL RULES CAN THERE BE???

Riddle continues,
"If you break the rules... I'm sure you understand."

Ace sighs with exhaustion.
"Haah, another weird rule..."

"The answer is. "Yes dorm leader!"."

"Yes dorm leader!" Ace and Deuce immediately shout.

"Very good." Riddle says in a satisfied tone.

Trey looks at Riddle and says.
"I will look after them for you."

"...Hm. You're the vice dorm leader so I expect you to not act foolishly. Following the Laws of the Queen of Hearts. No, 339: "After a meal one must always drink lemon tea with 2 sugar cubes." I must go buy sugar cubes at the school store, so I'll be on my way. Letting the sugar cubes run out id a huge offense, I can't believe..." he then leaves the cafeteria in a hurry.

"Well, looks like you'll have that collar for a bit longer Ace." I say as I pat Ace's back.

"Eeeeii. That was close." Cater says with a relived look on his face as he relaxes back onto the table.

Grim crosses his paws in annoyance.
"That guy is so obnoxious."

"Woah that's rude!" Deuce immediately says, looks like he's defending Riddle or at least trying to be on his good side.
