🐈‍⬛ Part 6: Cauldrons Hurt

♡ Elena's pov:

It was soon the end of the day, me and Grim were in the cafeteria waiting for Ace to help clean the windows.
During the whole day, people were staring at us. I guess people already new what happened in the morning, I forgot how much news can spread like wildfire.

They also whispered to each other.
"Hey... isn't that the girl who shouted at the headmaster?"
"Yeah, I heard she even grabbed the headmaster by the collar of his shirt!
"Wait isn't the headmaster like- 185 cm? She must've had some strength to pull him down."
"Yeah.... I wonder what happened?"

People really can't keep their thoughts to themselves, I can even hear you! If your gonna gossip, make sure you do it quieter.

Grim was, less rambunctious to say the least, he was still as loud as ever. But it seems like he tried to, be less nagging? I guess he's trying to be more responsible and not cause trouble, thank goodness honestly.

"I'm already beat from cleaning up all day... Now I have to wash 100 windows too...."
He said tiredly as he plopped himself on one of the tables.

"Well.... at least you have some help, and you have no choice either so I guess you'll just have to get it over with." I said in an exhausted voice.

"That Ace guy sure take his sweet time... Who does he think he is, making me wait! I'm pissed!"
He said as he lifted his head off the table.

"Well... I guess you'll just have to wait for him."

Then a few seconds passed, which turned to minutes, which turned to an hour.
Where was this guy?

Grim finally got up and shouted
"I don't care what happened, he is taking too long! Wait, he wouldn't skip out, right?"

I also got up from my seat and said.
"I hate to break it to you but I think he did skip out, let's go find him."

"I'm not gonna let him get away with putting all the punishment on me! Let's go henchma- I mean Elena! We 're gonna catch Ace and make him do all the window washing!"

Then we started to run around the campus looking for any traces of the redhead. Grim opened oneof the doors and shouted.
"Oraaaaa! Where's Ace? We're not gonna let you hide away!"

"Grim calm down, you can't just burst into any room as you please, there could be people in the."

".... sorry, also nobodies here!?"

"No I'm here." Said a voice, it was coming from a painting. That's another one to the list of strange things.

"Fgyaaaaaa!!! The picture talked!!!"

"What now?" It said in an annoyed tone, "Its not uncommon for paintings to talk in this school. The Wall Lady over there, the Wall Gentleman over here, everyone can speak. Portraits can speak because they have a mouth. That's normal you know?"

"I apologize for his sudden outburst." I said as I bowed my head down.

"It's fine, also, who are you looking for?"

"A guy named Ace. He's got a heart mark in his face and hair that sticks up." Replied Grim.
"Aah, I know him. He's one of the freshmen that started today. He went back to his dorm not too long ago.."

"Whhaaaaat! So he did try to get away! Which way did he go?"

"The entrance is behind the East building."

"Hey! We're going after him!" Grim quickly ran out the door and didn't look back.

I quickly thanks the portrait and followed behind Grim to find Ace. He was gonna get a good earful from me. He can't just leave one person to do his punishment? As we quickly headed towards the East building we ran past several students and doors leading who knows were? But we were determined to bet Ace to do his punishment. When we entered the back of the east building, we saw Ace walking down the long hallway (I had no time to observe the surroundings in room).  Finally, we've found him.
