Ford touched the invisible wall that was stopping him from crossing. He knocked on it and saw a small ripple go around the barrier.

"Interesting." he thought.

He looked at the bus driver who was checking all the tires.

"Umm, sir?" Ford called out.

The bus driver looked at Ford, "Hm?"

"Could you back the bus a bit, about half way into the Gravity Falls sign?"

The bus driver shrugged and did as Ford asked him too. As the bus moved backward, Dipper felt as if he was bandage that was just peeled off.

He stood up in front of Mabel and Stan, "Hey, I'm not stuck anymore!" he said smiling.

He was about to give them both a hug, when the invisible force stopped him. He hit his head right against it and fell backwards.

"Ouch..." he said rubbing his forehead and looked up at Mabel and Stan, "What the heck?!"

Dipper got up again but this time walked to them very slowly. As he got closer and closer he suddenly felt a wall right in front of him. He put his hand on it and brought it up and down, feeling the invisible force that stopped him from moving. It looked like he was just touching air.

"What are you doing?" Mabel asked he brother.

"I- I don't know." Dipper said confused, "I can't go past this point."

"What are you talking about Dipping sauce?"

"Look, feel this." he said patting the wall.

Mabel tried to touch it but her hand just went through, "There's nothing there Dipper."

Dipper thought for a moment, "If it's not a force keeping my family apart, maybe..."

He looked up to the bus driver, "Excuse me sir, could you move the bus a little bit more back."

"Uh, sure kid."

The bus proceeded to move back. Dipper wobbled a bit from standing in the moving vehicle, but he kept his hand on the wall. And the more they moved back, the more space he got from the force.

Finally the bus was right behind the Gravity Falls sign and Dipper was no longer contained.

The three of them hugged but were also confused.

They walked out of the bus and saw Ford. Dipper rushed over to him, "Great Uncle Ford! I'm so glad you're here! I think something's wrong!" he said as he hugged Ford.

Ford looked at Dipper, "Yes, I felt it too. And I think I know what's wrong." Ford said with a sad look in his eyes.
