Trapped in the Falls (Gravity Falls AU)

Chapter 5

"STUCK?!" Mabel shouted, "What do you mean stuck?!"

Ford sighed, "It means we can't leave Gravity Falls sweetie."

"NO!" Mabel shouted angrily, "You're lying! Dipper's gonna come home with me!" She grabbed Dipper's hand and started pulling him to the bus.

But, as predicted, Dipper couldn't leave the border. "Ouch, Mabel stop! That hurts!"

Mabel didn't listen, she just kept on pulling harder and harder. "Mabel please stop!" Dipper yelled.

Tears were now falling down on both of the young Pine twins. Both were upset about the whole situation, but Mabel was also practically slamming a brick wall in her brothers face.

"NO!" Mabel yelled in between sniffs, "You're coming back to Piedmont with me!"

"MABEL STOP!" Ford yelled, "You're hurting your brother!"

Mabel looked back and saw that her brother was crying and it looked like his face was smooshed into a window.

Her eyes grew wide and immediately let go of her brother. "Oh my gosh, Dipper! I'm so sorry! I- I didn't mean to!"

Dipper sighed of relief that the physical pain was gone and brushed his bangs. Ford gasped as he saw Dipper brush his hair up.

"What?" Dipper asked.

Ford grabbed his nephew and pulled up his bangs, and there was his birthmark and it was glowing a bit? Ford sighed, "This confirms it."

"What?" Dipper asked nervously, "What's wrong?!"

"It's your birthmark that's stopping you from leaving." he said.

Dipper's eyes grew wide and he looked down in defeat, "Oh, so it's my fault."

"No, no, no, Dipper! This isn't your fault!" Ford said brushing his bangs to the side, "It's just that, Gravity Falls recognizes that your special and wants to keep you here."

"But... what about Mabel? And your trip with Stan?!"

Ford looked at the Gravity Falls sign, "I'm sorry Mason, but some beans need to go and some must stay."
