Fangclaw opened his eyes, only to see a brightened version of his den, lit by the afternoon sun. He could already feel it in his warm coat that it will be a good season. Leafbare is coming to an end, to which Newleaf will start immediately. Fifteen sunrises ago, Foxwhisperer was chosen as the Right-Hand and the rank of combatant. His qualities led the clan to thrive. As for Thornpelt; the warrior decided to trade his rank for a position of the Guard. His friends accepted it along with the scarred leader. Brightdawn, Wolfhowl, and Fallenshadow were once again healthy. They looked as if before the battle on the hill. Brightdawn and Wolfhowl joined the Combatant with Fox'. Right now they are training warriors at a sandy area they found four sunrises ago.

Though, there are a few complex problems. Like the herbs; it is the end of leafbare, but no plants grew from the frozen soil yet. The last herb was still safe. But how long will it wilt? Maybe the herb will forever be useless.... And there is a part where Fangclaw and Kitten are still figuring out how to find some whoknowswhat that can connect them with DeadClan forever, without interruptions.

But it all does not matter in the end, for that ClawClan is thriving once more. They do not need a single herb now, and (is not like Fangclaw betrayed DeadClan) they're doing fine without DeadClan's guide. But for how long will it last before the clan starts to need their ancestors' help?

Fangclaw looked outside of his den. He could see that some morning-patrols are coming in the clan, carrying soaked moss for Minkbounce, other patrols were putting away fresh-kill in the pile. Speaking of the queen, she is doing very well. She provided enough milk, but are worthless until the next kittens, for that her two kits were now grown.

Rosepaw, along with her beautiful mentor, lifted a branch and nailed it into the grass that will mark the Doctor's Den. Ah yes....everything in ClawClan is thriving, just a little.

Foxwhisperer watched as his leader climbed upwards on a big tree stump. An announcement is what the combatant thought of first. Many of his clanmates noticed and came forward to the small clearing around the High-Stump. Then, the handsome tomcat realized, that Fangclaw was not making an announcement, but rather a speech.

"Warriors, Queen, Combatants, and Staff," the old leader said, chin up and eyes sparkled with pride. The combatants came back from the Sand-Fortress, followed by a few warriors. "It took us many seasons, battles, blood and tears for us to make a clan. With the help from DeadClan and many others," he looked at Thornpelt. "our clan moved upward this society mountain. It makes my heart swell when my... my." Foxwhisperer could see a tear forming on the ugly leader's face. All the Right-Hand could feel from this speech was vomit in his throat. Just get on with it! He wanted to shout, but does not want to be disrespectful.

"Next Half-moon, we will have a celebration for our struggles, and salute to our ancestors and clanmates who gave their lives so we could make a clan and survive in this harsh forest!"

Everycat whispered to each other, excited to know what they will do on the celebration.

"Before we begin our plan for the celebration, I just like to m-"

"LeafClan!" Fallenshadow came out of the entrance along with Thornpelt. The former guard tried to grasp some breaths as the second took over the explanation.

"LeafClan is coming to our camp, get ready!"

In a heartbeat, every warrior of the clan got into an irregular line. The Doctor and The Assistant went back to the Nursery to protect the queen and the three kits.

"Hold still," Foxwhisperer ordered his clanmates. It could be false alarm. It does seemed unlikely for LeafClan to come at and raid them in the afternoon-
