Kitten jumped over, scraping her small hindlegs against the brambles. She panted and can feel her heart beating down to the surface of her chest. She felt her fur turning hot and started to sweat. She never had gone into the forest before since she was captured as ClawClan's prisoner; it was like a new world to her. A world that made her smile, just a little bit! Butterflies in her stomach. She knows that she couldn't tell which way to the connection, but... is hard to explain.

It was like she knew, yet doesn't. Right, left, straight, turn, jump, dodge! Left, left, straight, slide, right! Jump, right, jump, dodge a branch, and left. It was as if something is whispering to her ear. The wind? No, cannot be. Maybe is DeadClan, or her family? She may be a prisoner, but she trusts this weird belief. She doesn't know why she believes in DeadClan, she just does!

Run, run! The wind muttered.

Turn right! The breeze whispered.

Go behind the hill! The air said softly.

Kitten bunched her legs and leapt on top of the grass of a hill. She climbed up top and watched as dark gray clouds float away. She memorized that this was a hill used for two battles: a battle to gain freedom, and the battle of rights: the latter tearing her heart apart. She blocked the thought by sniffing the cold breeze and watched the grass sway. Metallic blood aura was ridden of the air. Then Kitten continued her journey, sprinting downwards, behind the hill. She leapt up and squashed down, making one of her paws sting a little. She lifted it up, staggering. She lay down her paw as a whisper got into her head. Its voice was more familiar and louder than the wind.

"Keep going straight, Messenger."

So she did. She kept going, and going, and going until she saw the shining of light. She lifted her head to the sky, seeing the full moon beaming on....-She dipped her head back to a normal position-... a gigantic, glowing rock. The butterflies in Kitten's stomach swelled up with surprise and awe. "The Mother-Stone...," the molly murmured. Soon, whispers were radiating the rock, repeating Kitten's words. They became louder and louder as The Messenger came closer. It was as if magic pulled Kitten's nose to the shiny surface. Cold, she thought, then closed her eyes.

There was flashes, many flashes that could make a normal cat dizzy. One flash shows a river of blood. The next shows the night sky full of stars twinkling. The third was a little unexpected: a skull of a dog on what appears to be a head of a feline. Flashes after flashes, Kitten couldn't keep up. Then there was a rough voice that kept getting louder, repeating something: "The claw will lead to peace."

The last flash was a lightning bolt striking down a tree.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

As she opened her eyes, Kitten searched around the clearing. She heard another flash of lighting over yonder. Then rain started to splatter onto the molly's pelt. Ignoring it, She faced the big stone. Who knows how long she had been slumbering. The mind of the kittypet wandered on, asking questions. She shook her head to get back to the first prophecy which needs to be completed: The claw will lead to peace. What does that mean, and could she find this claw? It was as if her ancestors put an idea in her head; at the hill, she thought and sprinted back to the hill.

She searched around the hill, hoping to find anything. It was too dark to see anything. Her heart dropped. Maybe it was a dream and there's no way to bring peace? Giving up easily, the kittypet went down the hill, and tripped over a pebble. She moaned and put a paw on her thigh. Is okay, nothing was twisted or sprained. Laying down on all fours, neatly, she eyed the pebble that caused her trouble. And there was a yellow claw pointing to it. It looks like it belonged to an elder. "The claw will lead to peace," Kitten whispered and opened her maw to pick up the claw, but she stopped. Can a claw really make peace? She thought of the prophecy again.

The claw will lead to peace.

Yes...The claw is not the answer to peace, it is a clue, a lead! to find peace. Leaning her head back a little, she locked her eyes on the pebble that the claw pointed to. She knows a pebble won't do anything, maybe... She turned the pebble over, revealing a furry brown caterpillar with a white star slapped on its body. Is this it? She finds the creature unable to achieve peace, but her connection with DeadClan says otherwise. Slowly, not to alarm it, she hold the funny-looking caterpillar with her paw. A bolt of lightning made the molly jump. She came to her senses and realized that if peace will be found, she must go to where the three clans held ClawClan.

It was very weird to Kitten, she never went beyond the hill and her clan. Yet, after touching the Mother-Stone, she knew of every route in the whole forest. The whole forest! Where ClawClan and the other three clans are at? The Boulders!
