The dark ginger leader locked eyes with the full moon behind gloomy, gray clouds. Fangclaw can sense that it will be a good leafbare. Yes, the cold was still within Fallenshadow, Brightdawn and Wolfhowl, but it's toning down. Fangclaw rested his eyes upon the dark corner of his den, and rested his chin on his paws. He noticed that his right hind paw was missing a claw. Deciding that it was old age, he ignored it and took a nap.
Thornpelt, the new Guard since Fallenshadow became sick, watched the outside of the camp closely. He was barely awake though, leaving his eyes shut and open, then blinking rapidly to gain consciousness 'til he fell asleep; however, he was awoken by the brushing sound of nearby bushes, then seeing two white fur-tip ears. The only Clawclanner to have that feature was Rosepaw, who was supposed to sleep in the Nursery! Fascinated, the chestnut brown tomcat watched closely with his green eyes. He squinted his eyes, white streaks above the eyes burrowed down. The cat was different, and is being followed by cats that he can scent as...
LeafClan! They're up for another raid!
The warrior ran into his camp's entrance and woke up the first cat he could think of, Foxwhisperer. After discussing the sight he saw before him, Thornpelt could see the handsome cat's eyes narrowed and his head wrinkled as if the red warrior was thinking.
"I'll distract the raiders, you'll wake up our clanmates and the leader," Foxwhisperer commanded as he left the Warriors' den and headed towards the entrance.

Prodded upon, Fangclaw opened his eyes to see the chestnut fur of Thornpelt. The elderly tomcat could hear hissing and clawing outside, eyeing up at Thornpelt, worriedly. The young warrior soon explained that a group of LeafClan cats are outside of ClawClan, preparing for the next raid.
"Had you woken the warriors?" the gingerly cat asked. Thornpelt nodded and beckoned the leader to the clearing.
"I know you had a hard time since the last raid, but you can make it up by helping us out, like a real leader." the young tomcat left followed by Fangclaw. Could this change his clanmates' minds that he is a good leader with a good heart?
