Chapter 19: A New Light

Bakugo POV

"Yeah...as IF. I don't need therapy. I'm fine." I mumbled.

"Child, I know how my quirk works. It doesn't ever lie and I know that you know what you just said." 

"Yeah but that's not how I really feel. Wait, why aren't you mind controlling me now?" It confused me because I know how his quirk works too. "Isn't it if I answer a question, you can control me?"

"Yes and no. That is how my quirk works when it's ACTIVATED. I can control myself ya know. Just think about my offer, I'm a councillor for the hero course. You need something? Ask Aizawa where my office is." He pats me on the back as he walked away.

"Baku is that how you really fee-" Ojiro started just as the bell went to signal the end of lunch.

"Oh class is starting. We gotta go. Bye." I quickly walked away so I could get to class early. I saw the other 3 shuffle in just as Mr Aizawa walked into class.

Aizawa POV

"Good afternoon class."

"Afternoon Mr Aizawa." They all chorused back to me.

"I actually have 2 special announcements. First of all, we now have a councillor for the hero course but specifically for Class 1-A. His name is Hitoshi Shinsou, some of you know him as my son. He was in Class 1-B at the same time that your parents were in Class 1-A." Ojiro put his hand up.

"Does he have a mind control quirk? Sero, Asui,, Bakugo and I met him at lunch." I don't know what I expected from my son but socialising without being forced? Something must be wrong.

"Yes, he has a mind control quirk. He'll explain it if and when you meet him."

"What about the second announcement?" Ashido exclaimed quite loudly.
"I was just getting to that. Class 1-A has a new student."

"A NEW STUDENT??! MR AiZAWA!! Boy or girl?! Name?! Quirk?!" Ashido yells,  obviously exasperated that I hadn't told her sooner. 

"Sorry Emiko. I didn't know you'd be so interested." I say sarcastically as I smile, knowing full well that she loved knew people. "Anyways, she will be here soon." Ashido immediately put her hand up. 

"Yes Ashido?"

"What does she look like?" Ashido looked so excited that I may as well just tell her.

"I'll let her introduce her own name so I'll just describe her appearance. She has navy blue hair that flows around near her ankles. She's not very tall, about 152cm. Her quirk is called Emotional Withdrawal, she'll explain it if she wants to. It's quite a scary quirk. She is very shy person and, due to her quirk, she's very withdrawn from other people." That's all I got time to explain because I heard a knock at the door. I opened and Principal Nezu motioned for the nervous girl to go inside the classroom.

"Everybody, this is our new student. I'd like you all to meet Michiru Hoda."
