Aizawa POV

I lead the class further out to the sports field after Hado's demonstration and line them all up. "Alright. Quirk training. This is how we're gonna do things today. I will match you up with people that I think are of your skill level. This is to make sure I can monitor you easier and so no one gets hurt. Everyone cool with that?"
"Ya know Mr Aizawa, you've chilled out a lot since our parents were here." Bakugo smiled at me.

"Yeah. You really have." Sato said. "I know I don't talk a whole lot but my dad always said that he loved you no matter how strict you were. It's nice to be able to love the same teacher even if you have calmed down a lot." She started clapping. Nyoko Sato, the quiet girl who somehow has a quirk called 'Hyperdrive', started clapping for me. The entire class followed her lead. Even Bakugo, who comes off angry and temperamental just like her dad. Even Hagakure, who tries to be invisible all the time. Even Koda, the sweet kid who controls birds. Even Todoroki, who is blunt and honest with everyone. I knew how hard these kids were gonna work to improve.

"Thank you guys. Really. It means a lot to me that you all want to work so hard and that you love me as your teacher. Each and every one of you has an amazing quirk and I believe you could all be amazing heroes some day. I'm going to help you guys get there. And, this might be the 'teenager speak' getting to me, but I'm going to make every single one of you kids feel like the main character. Because you know what? You are the main character! This is your story! Don't let anyone else change it" I finished, out of breathe from the sudden adrenaline rush. A slow clap started to form behind me.

"Wow Aizawa. Haven't heard you say something so meaningful in years." I turn around to see my 2020 Class 1-A standing right there. It's safe to say my mouth dropped open.

"SURPRISE!!!" They all yelled.
"Oh my gosh, you guys!! This is amazing. But why are you parents here?" A loud sigh was heard from the back of my 2020 chaos class.
"Come ON Aizawa! We're here to help these kids train. I know that we were a lot so we're here to help you out a little."

"Katsuki Bakugo. Lord Explosion Murder. When did you become so nice?"

"Since someone in my life made a difference." His daughter. Of course!

A/N: This part might be a bit confusing because of the parents and kids being together. So the kids will be referred to using [last name] junior. The parents will be referred to by their first names or [last name] senior.

"Alright class! Time to partner up! There will be 2 students and 2 kids in each group. Here is the list, NO COMPLAINTS!" I saw Mic out of the corner of my eye, probably laughing at me now having to deal with not one but TWO chaos crew classes. I winked at my dear husband, catching the attention of a couple of my former students.

"I freaking told you that Mic and Aizawa were a thing!" I hear one of them whisper. Ignoring them, I started reading out the list of groups for quirk training.

"Alright first group: Mineta Junior, Koda Junior, Mineta Senior and Hagakure Senior." Those 4 grouped together, immediately talking and bonding.

"Second group: Sero Junior, Hagakure Junior, Koda Senior and Aoyama Senior." Quite a shy group.

"Third group: Aoyama Junior, Ojiro Junior, Jiro Senior and Sato Senior." What a mixed group of people.

"Fourth group: Jiro Junior, Sato Junior, Kaminari Senior and Sero Senior." That's an amazing group.

"Fifth group: Ashido Junior, Uraraka Junior, Ashido Senior and Ojiro Senior." I like that mash up.

"Sixth group: Iida Junior, Asui Junior, Uraraka Senior and Kirishima Senior." Interesting mix.

"Seventh group: Kirishima Junior, Kaminari Junior, Tokoyami Senior and Yaoyorozu Senior." I heard some groans from the 2 children, probably realising that they can't muck around.

"Eighth group: Midoriya Junior, Todoroki Junior, Shoji Senior and Asui Senior." I'm glad Shoji still came. You could tell he's disappointed in his boy but he won't let go of his family. He's here to support Hado, Nejire's younger sister, seeing as he was very good friends with Nejire. I felt a tap on my shoulder. I looked away from my list to see Hado.

"Mr Aizawa? Could you call me they/them today? I'm not really feeling feminine and I feel more comfortable with they/them today." I smiled warmly, to the apparent shock of my former students.

"Alright everybody!! Before I read out the last few groups I have an announcement. As this years class knows, Hado is gender fluid. Today, they wish to be called by they/them pronouns. Please do so or you will be hearing from me." Hado nodded gratefully and went back in line.

"Alright, ninth group: Bakugo Junior, Yaoyorozu Junior, Iida Senior and Midoriya Senior. That leaves our last group to be: Hado, Tokoyami Junior, Bakugo Senior and Todoroki Senior." As all 10 groups split off to warm up, Mic walked up to me.

"Heya bub." He whispered in my ear. He wrapped his arms around my waist and we watched as the students and their parents began to stretch and warm up. I wiped a tear from my eye. 'Jeez when did I become so emotional and dramatic.' I thought, spacing out for a moment.

"What's wrong Shota?" I laughed softly at his sudden concern.

"Nothing's wrong. It's just that all these people, kids and adults alike, are succeeding because of me. I did it Hizashi. I chose to teach kids and I think I taught them pretty good." My husband squeezed my hand and we waved at our own kids, Shinsou and Eri, who happened to be walking down the pathway outside.

"You did more than good Shota. They love you." And as I looked at the 2 generations grouped before me, I believed him. I did more than good. They love me.
