Chapter 25: Grounded Or Not

Toga Junior POV

"How much do you reckon Shigaraki would wanna see this?" Mira smiled at my words.

"Shinji. This could be the most important information to the League right now!! I mean, our last mission lasted a while and we got some information out of the mini phone charger girl but this? Both generations in one place?" She grabbed my hand. "We gotta tell the League." 

"And tell our parents we were around the UA campus without permission? No way." I crossed my arms and looked at my best friend. "My mum would kill me!! You know her fear about my dad finding me again. And what about Dabi and Hawks? They are SO protective of you. We'd both be grounded for weeks. And with a base that's now underground? Not fun" Miria's smart but this was just trouble waiting to happen. We may be in the League but our parents would KILL us.

"Shinji come ON!! I may be older than you but we BOTH have to prove ourselves eventually." My friend whined at me. "Imagine the stunts we could pull! Both of us would finally be valuable to the League! We can finally DO something!" She stared at me, hope in her eyes as she spread her electric blue wings and put her arms around my waist. I felt myself lift off the ground. 

We're flying.' Thoughts raced in my head.

"MIRIA TAKAMI!! PUT ME DOWN THIS INSTANT!"
"Not until you agree to tell them!!!" My older friend laughed.
"If we're in the air any longer, someone from UA is gonna see us!" I shrieked at her.

"Then agreeeeeee!!" She said, dragging out the 'e' sound. "We're in the LOV, have a little fun!"

"God you really are a child." I whispered. "FINE! We'll tell them. But don't blame me when we're both grounded." Miria flew us back down to the street and gently let go of me. We ran hand in hand back to our base, which was underneath a subway line.

"Your parents are so gonna kill you Miria." I called as she ran ahead, pulling me behind her. She just looked back and smiled.

"Oh I know." I shake my head, laughing at her. Still holding hands, we reached the door of our base breathlessly and let ourselves in. Sitting down on the couch in our living/kitchen area, we both start laughing until Shigaraki runs down the hallway and sees us.
"They are so gonna kill you guys." He says. I sit up on the couch just as he opens the door to leave.
"Wait Shiggy, are our parents mad?" He leans his head back to look at me. "Wouldn't you like to know Shinji?" At that, Shigaraki slams the door, leaving me and Miria to our doom.

"Oh they're mad alright."

"Super mad."

"Like really REALLY mad."  We both turn to see Toga, Dabi and Hawks standing behind the couch.

"Well shit." Those 2 words. The 2 words I whispered that our parents weren't supposed to hear.

"That's it." My mum grabbed my arms and walked me down the hall to my room. I saw Dabi and Hawks grab one of Miria's arms each and take her the opposite direction to her room.

"MUM LET GO!!"

"DAD! FATHER! LET ME GO!" Me and Miria yell at the same time. I heard the door open and I figured it must be Shigaraki. The raspy laugh I heard confirmed it.

"Oh my god. This is the funniest thing I've ever heard. You kids really think your parents are gonna let you go? They didn't get into the League Of Villains for nothing. A few kids yelling ain't gonna do ANYTHING!!" He burst out laughing and I could picture the blue haired man wiping tears from his eyes.

"FUCK YOU TOMURA!!" I yelled in response. My mother opened the door to my room and pushed me in.

"Language." Was her only word before slamming the door. Great. I was already in trouble but I had one more thing to yell. I opened the door and stuck my head. 

"I TOLD YOU THEY WOULD KILL US MIRIA!!" I screamed down the hall. I wondered if she would respond.

"SHUT UP!" I could hear our parents angry sighs and Shigaraki still laughing as I closed my door again.
"Kids!!"

After that, neither me or Miria said a word. Not to say I told her so but, I told her so.
