Kirishima POV

I watched through the outside security cameras, finally seeing all the heroes run out of the hospital, Pika in their arms as they ran to the car.

"DENKI!! DRIVEEE!!" I hear one of them scream as the car sped away, definitely breaking the speed limit. I felt all anxiety rush from my body and my face broke into a smile.

"AIZAWA WAKE THE HELL UP!! THEY DID IT! THEY GOT HER OUT! PIKA'S COMING BACK! THEY DID AIZAWA! THEY DID IT!!" I yelled in happiness, shaking my teacher until my legs gave away and I collapsed on the floor, in hysterical laughter. I saw Aizawa hover over me and smile. He offered his hand to help me up. I took it, standing up but he smoothly and sharply pulled me into a hug, one hand on my back, the other on my head in a protective manner. I heard him start crying and we both fell to the ground in tears, shaking in each others company.

~Time skip about 30 mins~

Aizawa and I had woken up Class 1-A to tell them the news. They all knew about the rescue mission the morning it was happening and while waking them up at 4:03 in the morning may seem unnecessary to others, everyone was glad to be woken up at such a time, as long as their classmate was okay. Aizawa sent them all back to bed, except for me since I had been apart of the rescue. I saw Denki's van pull up but Aizawa had already told me not to run over there. I remembered the state I saw Pika in and I knew I would have to wait until her recovery was over to see her again. Denki gets out of the car and Aizawa leads us to the staff room so neither of us see the state she was in. It was awkward nonetheless.

Denki POV

"She's amazing you know?" I hear a tired voice whisper. I look up from my chair in the staff room to see the Kirishima girl staring at me, assumingly waiting for an answer. Ejiro told me about his daughter but I never imagined she would help save my child's life.
"Pika I mean. She's one of the most amazing people I've ever met. She's fun and outgoing and she always makes me feel better about myself. She's smart too, top of our class, her lowest test score is an 88. And her smile? It could light up the whole city. I know it hurts you to know that this happened but she will be okay. She's strong and she will pull through it." Kirishima gave me a weary smile and slumped back into her seat. I was taken aback by everything she had said. Not many people could talk about others as if they were the most valuable thing on Earth.

"You like her don't you?" I questioned, a smirk pulling at my mouth. I don't think I've ever seen someone go so red so fast. My smile widened.

"OMG!! You so do! You have a crush on Pika. That. Is. AMAZING. Please tell me you've told her." I stop smiling and go serious, waiting for an answer from the dark haired girl.

"Funny you should say that." She laughed nervously. "Um yeah no. I haven't told her." Kirishima's voice got quieter as she spoke, eventually becoming a whisper. Just as I was about to ask why, Aizawa came rushing in. Kirishima practically shot out of her chair and ran to her teacher.

"Good news? Bad news? Any news?" She said frantically. I saw my former teacher motion to me so I slowly stood up and walked over, afraid of any answer he may bring.

"Pika is in stable condition. HOWEVER!" He looked at his exhausted student who was practically overflowing with emotions. "Only her father is to visit her at this time. You, young miss, are off to bed. NOW!!" She opened her mouth to speak. "Don't argue with me Tsuyoi. Bed. Now!"
