•"Shout at the devil!" I screamed in sync with Vince, watching him and the other three on stage. I was sat in the front row at their concert in San Diego, and I couldn't help but passionately sing to every lyric.
Everything was going just as planned, all four boys either played or sang their hearts out. It was truly a beautiful sight to see, and the audience agreed.
The screams and cheers definitely got the four boys on stage hyped up, and mixed with the alchohol, they put on a show that was worth remembering.
The concert was nearly half way done, and everyone was still pumping their fists in the air and throwing up the devil horns. The boys were playing the instrumental to Wild Side when Tommy gave me a wink from stage, my drummer boyfriend.
"Rock on, Bella!" Tommy yelled into his microphone with a huge smile on his face, and I desperately wanted to run up there and hug him, but I couldn't.
Or I thought I couldn't, until Vince reached his hand out while he continued singing the song. Without thinking, I tightly grabbed hold of my friends hand and let him pull me on stage.
Wild Side ended, and I got the opportunity to rush over to Tommy and give him a hug and a sweet kiss on the cheek. The crowd was losing their minds, chanting our names
"Tommy! Bella!" And repeat; "Tommy! Bella!" Until Tommy grabbed the mic from Vince's hand with a happy smile on his face.
"Give a big round of applause to my lovely girlfriend, Bella!" Tommy shouted, holding the mic in one hand and his drumsticks in the other.
"The lovely and fucking talented," Nikki said into his mic with a grin; "why don't you play us a little solo on the drums?" Nikki pointed to Tommy's drum set with the end of his bass.
I wouldn't be too surprised if that bass was smashed to pieces by the end of the night.
"Yeah come on, Bells!" Tommy started enthusiastically, using the nickname I've had since middle school; "it's been way too long since you've played,"
He was right. I played drums all the time in high school and college because I was in cover bands, but nothing big ever came out of it.
It did land me the opportunity to meet Tommy, though. Him and the Crüe were at a bar my band was playing at one night. He sat and watched me play for the full two hours, with admiration and desire in his eyes. And here we are now, three years later, happily dating.
I nodded and took the drumsticks from Tommy, walking over to the drum set and sitting down in the seat. I took a swig of the Jack Daniels that was placed on the floor next to my feet, causing the crowd to holler in excitement as they waited.
I started playing the instrumental to Bad Boy Boogie, with Mick and Nikki starting to play as well. We played about a minute of the song until Tommy came over with his hands in the air.
"Woah woah!" Everyone stopped playing their instruments and the crowd quieted down; "my turn," he took the sticks back and switched me spots so he was sitting down.
Everyone waited patiently while Tommy cracked his knuckles, then his neck. After his unnecessary warm up, he started banging on the drums, playing Take Me To The Top.
The crowd started chanting his name, and I knew I was ready for a battle. So I threw my hands in the air like he did to me to make him stop, snatching the drumsticks back.
"Move, rockstar," I laughed and returned to the seat, wasting no time in playing the instrumental to Come On And Dance.
I think Vince was rooting for me, because he even started singing the lyrics.
The adrenaline really started kicking in when the audience started singing along as well, it was like nothing I'd ever felt before. They were at the concert to hear Mötley Crüe play, not Nikki Sixx, Mick Mars, Vince Neil, and Tommy Lee's drummer girlfriend.
But there I was, rocking on with three of my best friends while my boyfriend just shook his head with a smile. He started clapping, and I knew I won the drum-off.
After we finished the song, I ran up to the edge of the stage where Nikki was and threw the drumsticks as hard as I could into the crowd, hoping no one would be injured.
"That's the spirit, Bella!" Nikki yelled with a smile so big his eyes were closed.
"You rocked, kid," Mick said to me as he did the devil horns in my direction. I smiled at the two boys and made my way back to Tommy, standing on my tippy toes and wrapping my arms around his neck.
"I'm sorry I threw the sticks into the crowd," I gave him a soft kiss on his nose; "but I'm not sorry for beating you at your own game," I giggled before he lifted me up off the ground and spun me around.
"I'm not mad, you totally killed it," he set my feet back down on the stage and gave me a passionate kiss, causing the crowd to roar with excitement.
Tommy gave me a few quick pecks after our long kiss until he felt someone tap his shoulder.
"I don't mean to interrupt your moment, but we have a fuckin' concert to finish," Vince said with a smug smile before he nudged the both of us; "get a room when the night is over,"
I felt a bright tint of red cover my cheeks as Tommy gave me one last kiss on the cheek before I jumped off the stage and returned to the audience, having some help from a very sweet girl in the front as to not injure anyone with the boots I was wearing.
While I was getting off the stage, Tommy ran backstage to get a new set of drumsticks.
"Alright!" Vince yelled into his mic while the other three prepared for the next song; "let's get on with the show!" And almost like that line was planned beforehand, the band started playing On With The Show.
