Fluff + bittersweet

Posey watched as Nikki and Tommy snorted yet another line of cocaine, using a rolled hundred dollar bill that everyone was passing around.

And the thing was, they weren't even at a party. They were all seated in the studio, and were supposed to be working on the Shout At The Devil album.

"Aren't you guys worried about killing your brain cells?" Posey watched Vince take the rolled bill; "or even worse, yourselves?" She shifted in her seat uncomfortably as she watched Vince snort the line.

"Come on, baby," Nikki wrapped his arm around his girlfriend's shoulders; "have a line with us," Nikki gave Posey a grin, and it was obvious he was high off his ass.

"No thanks, Nik," Posey stood up angrily, nearly knocking the loose powder of drug off the table. "Why don't you call when you're ready to be a responsible adult?" The girl stormed out of the room, slamming the door behind her.

Once the guys started making it big, you could tell it went to their heads. They started buying better booze and drugs, increasing their risk of death. And Posey had enough of seeing her boyfriend practically kill himself.

She stomped her way down the long hallway, hugging herself as tears pricked her eyes.

Should I break up with him?

Should I convince him to quit?

Should he go to rehab?

Posey truly loved Nikki Sixx, from the bottom of her heart, since the first day they met. And Nikki felt the same, he just had a shit way of showing it sometimes.

Posey was about to push the glass doors open to step out of the building, until she felt a strong but gentle hand grip her shoulder.

"Posey.. my love," Nikki slowly turned the girl around, his heart breaking at the sight of her tears. "Please don't leave,"

"Why shouldn't I, Nikki?" She tried to seem strong, but her voice cracks showed she was quite the opposite right now. "I'm surprised you were even able to walk down here," she laughed so her tears wouldn't fall.

"I didn't mean to hurt you.." Nikki sighed as he looked down at the ground, feeling embarrassed for his actions. "Please. Let me make it up to you,"

"Prove you still love me. Kiss me like you used to," Posey took Nikki's hands into hers, gently rubbing his knuckles with her thumbs.

Nikki wasted no time in connecting his lips with Posey's, a soft and gentle kiss that slowly grew more passionate when his hands found her waist, pulling her closer to his warm body.

The thought of everyone else in the building watching them kiss entered Posey's mind, so she slowly pulled away and looked her boyfriend in the eyes.

"I love you, Nikki. I really do, I just want what's best for you," it was Posey's turn to sigh, and Nikki slowly nodded.

"I know. I'll talk to the boys about getting sober," Nikki's face light up for the first time in what felt like an eternity. "Wanna get outta here? Go grab a burger or something?"

"Don't you have an album to work on?" Posey giggled and ran her fingers through Nikki's long dark locks.

"That can wait," Nikki shrugged and took his girlfriend's hand, dragging her outside to his car.

The two enjoyed their time together, talking and laughing like they used to before fame struck Nikki's life.
