A short chapter
Okay but, do y'all like or dislike John? I'm just curious 👀
I tried desperately to make Vince's wife a women of color, since I wanted to try and represent all women in my stories. If anything is offensive, please inform me and I will fix it.

•"They replaced me! They fucking replaced me, just like that!" Vince yelled at the TV screen, even though the men on the screen couldn't hear him. The TV currently showed his past band members with their new frontman, John Corabi. The blond hadn't been out of Mötley Crüe for more than a few months, and the band already had his replacement; "I can't fucking believe this," Vince continued to complain to himself about the new singer until Anni, his wife, walked into the room. The dark skinned beauty had her hair styled in Ghana braids, or cornrows, and she held the couple's son on her hip, little Charles, who was only three years old.
"Watch the language, your son is in the room," Anni warned her husband before she set the child onto the floor beside his toys. Making sure to keep a close eye on her baby, Anni took the seat next to Vince on the couch, and it was obvious he wasn't in the best of mood.
"Did you see this?" Vince pointed to the TV screen. Anni didn't respond right away, because she was too focused on listening to Nikki cut Vince down in a way she never thought was possible. Anni was always under the impression that the four band members were like brothers, so it didn't feel right that the instrumental members turned their backs so quickly.
"I did.. Heather called. She said Tommy was having a hard time getting used to the sudden change. No more blond boy," Anni tried to crack a joke in this serious situation. The women gently combed her long fingers through her husband's hair, and she silently prayed he would never cut it.
"Please, I don't think he cared about the possible change when I was walking out the studio door for the last time," Vince spat out. He was petty, and wasn't about to let this joke of a replacement singer bruise his ego. Anni was well aware of Vince's attitude, even before they married back in 1986. She's grown accustom to it, but that didn't mean she was about to let the man sit here and loath.
"Hey, listen to me," Anni took a quick glance to Charles, who was happily playing with one of his many toy fire trucks, before giving Vince her God honest opinion; "I think they'll realize just how much of a mistake they made. They'll realize it was stupid to let you go, because you made Mötley Crüe who they are. Who's voice is on those albums? Not Nikki's, not Tommy's or Mick's. Yours, Vince Neil. They won't make it very far without you. They need you, and face it, you need them," Anni smiled wholeheartedly when she saw Vince struggle with his own smile. The women was right, and he knew that. Mötley Crüe would fall apart without their famously notorious frontman.
"Do you realize how much I love you?" Vince finally let his smile show before he leaned in to give his wife a kiss, but much to his dismay, she pulled away.
"No, I don't. How much?" Anni giggled teasingly when she watched the look of shock and confusion cover Vince's face. She was always teasing the blond, more so when they were just starting out as a couple, then responsible took over their relationship.
"More than words can express," Vince finally earned his loving kiss, and he made sure to savor it for a long minute before jumping off the couch and scooping Charles into his arms; "hey, my little buddy," the child squealed happily at the sight of his father, and snuggled up into his chest. Vince resumed his spot on the couch, holding his child in his arms.
Charles possesses his mother's dark skin and hair, and his fathers handsome facial features. The couple is positive they created the most beautiful baby three years ago, and the child's attitude and personality is just the icing on the cake.
"Do you wanna watch something, my love?" Anni asked Charles, who nodded and pointed to the VHS tape that sat on the top of the TV. Care Bears. The women left her spot and set everything up, she even went as far as making her son a small bowl of popcorn.
The trio sat in complete harmony as they watched Care Bears. Vince completely forgot about the fact he had been replaced, he was just happy to have his wife and child with him. Anni was quite content while she watched her son smile happily and scream at the TV with excitement. To the married couple, these were the moments that make life worth living.
