Chapter 14

Yeji was lounging in bed, blissfully sated in both body and mind while Ryujin was getting dressed -- again. She'd actually gotten up early to go to work, but Yeji managed to convince her to delay her departure... multiple times.

"Here." Ryujin threw something shiny at the girl.

"What is it?" Yeji made a graceful grab, "Keys? To this place?"

"Yup. I've been thinking of having some poor, starving undergrad help me keep this place clean... might as well be you."

Yeji tried to look offended, but couldn't fight the smile off her face, "Does that include laundering underwear usually worn by kids?"

The blonde blushed furiously when she saw Yeji hold up a pair of Perry the platypus underwear. "Uh, you saw those?

"I was kinda distracted last night, but they are hard to miss in the cold light of day." The brunette twirled them around her finger as she approached Ryujin for a kiss.

"I didn't know we were going to do that last night," Ryujin mumbled as Yeji's lips found hers, "I probably wouldn't have worn them otherwise."

"I wouldn't have wanted you any other way..." Yeji smiled.

The blonde's arousal spiked immediately, "I guess I'll wear them more often."

"Hmm. Call in sick." Yeji snaked a hand through Ryujin's shirt

"Yeji... I've put this shirt on three times this morning already. I'm late."

"It's 9am, you're not late."

"I usually get in at 7:30, so I can catch our portfolio managers in London before the markets close over there."

"Oh. Ryujin, I'm sorry, I didn't know..."

"It was worth it," Ryujin planted one more warm lingering kiss on the brunette's lips before finally heading out.

Yeji listened as the blonde bounded downstairs. Once the sound became faint, she looked around the tiny bedroom, flipped onto her front and screamed happily into the mattress.

With a grin plastered on her face, Yeji took a quick shower, and put on her jeans and a t-shirt, which she found hanging behind Ryujin's bathroom door.

As soon as she was done, she strolled out into the summer morning and headed back to the sublet she and Yuna shared on the far west side.

The apartment was quiet when she arrived, and Yeji assumed most of her other roommates were still asleep, or already at work. Walking up the stairs, she quietly opened the door to the room she was splitting with Yuna.

Yuna sat up immediately, "How was... Oh my god. You guys did it."

Yeji grinned and nodded. She threw her shirt into the laundry pile and sat down on Yuna's bed.

"So did you guys just meet up and say, 'let's jump into bed now, enough with the bullshit?'"

Yeji shrugged, "She kissed me. I jumped on her. And I made her late for work this morning."

"Work? Ryujin works here now?"

The brunette nodded, smiling even wider.

Yuna squealed. "Was it good? Was it better than the dream?"

"What? Oh, wow, I didn't even think about that," Yeji shook her head, "Oh yeah, definitely better than the dream."

"I'm so happy for you. You know what this means, right?" Yuna's eyebrows bounced up and down.
