He was silent on the other end, clearly mulling over my words. I kept crying, feeling terrible. How could I do this to him? This is, like, the third time we've ever interacted.

"What are you angry at?" He asked, typing on his end. "Can you tell me that?"

HANG UP THE PHONE.

"Myself."

STOP.

"I think. I don't know."

WHAT ARE YOU TRYING TO DO?

"Are you sure it's just yourself you're mad at?" I felt cold, bitter. "I'm not the closest to you but I do know that you have a tendency to beat up on yourself. I don't think you're just angry with yourself."

HE DOESN'T KNOW WHAT'S GOOD FOR YOU!

"I'm not."

I DO!

"Well, if you want to come back into the Discord, we'll listen to you. If you just want to talk to me, that's just as fine."

HE'S JUST LIKE THE REST!

"Are you sure?" Sapnap lightly laughed into the phone's mic.

DON'T LISTEN TO HIM!

"We care about you, kid. We want you to be happy." Hope swelled in my chest.

"Okay." I agreed, swallowing every nasty thought. "Okay." I repeated, clicking on the Discord icon. "I'll see you there." I hung up the phone, clicking back on the previous call that I had left.

"Hey." George greeted, oddly soft. I found it comforting.

"Hi." I mumbled, looking down at my knees. "I'm sorry if I scared you guys."

"No, don't apologize." Dream sternly cut me off. "If it's bad enough to the point where you have to leave a call then it's our job to listen and worry about you."

"I know, but--"

"And us worrying about you is a given. We're not gonna stop doing that." He continued, sounding desperate almost. "I know what it's like to feel like the entire world is against you. And I know that you have to be going through something terrible for you to be this apologetic and skittish about sharing your feelings. And it's not healthy. Harmful behaviour only keeps the cycle going. And we're gonna do our best to help you stop it." Tears were openly flowing from my eyes. "What made you break today, kid?"

I opened my mouth. Then closed it. And opened it again. "It's a lot."

Sapnap snorted. "And we have plenty of time. Go ahead, dude."

Feeling cold, I shivered. "Okay." I muttered to them, taking in a deep, dry breath. "Okay." I said to myself, trying to shake off my nerves. "About a year ago, my parents got divorced."
