"Why did I agree to this?"
"You didn't agree to shit, you invited yourself to trick or treating!"
"Techno, that's too much makeup."
"Phil, I can't see!"
"Does anyone know where my hatchets are?" Changing in the bathroom after my shower, I listened to the boys bickering in Tommy's room through the walls. They were so loud, I'm sure Tommy's neighbors could hear us.
I never learned if they did because I heard the sound of Tommy's mom smashing his door open and scolding them loudly. I hid my snickers as they all frantically apologized to the woman, finally tugging the yellow hoodie over my head.
It was no surprise to the others that I chose Hoodie of all the Creepypastas. It was literally just so I had an excuse to buy myself a honey colored hoodie and wear it out at night. But not even gonna lie, Laughing Jack was just as tempting.
I didn't put on the black mask, picking it up by the string on the back and leaving the bathroom. It was hard to grab the doorknobs with the leather gloves, my fingers slipping off of it. Thankfully, the others heard my struggle and Wilbur popped Tommy's door open.
It was odd how spot on his Masky cosplay was. The mask was perfectly made and his zip up sweater had no creases. And just like me, he wore leather gloves as well.
"Aw, you look adorable." He cooed, pinching my cheeks like he was a grandma. I groaned and swatted him away, ignoring his obnoxious laughter. "Honey, c'mon!"
"No." I grumbled, looking at the others. I did a double take when my eyes landed on Tubbo, who looked like an exact replica of Ticci Toby. He got it all down to the orange goggles and the patterned hoodie, with plastic hatchets hanging off of his belt loops. "Oh my God, you look just like him."
"Really? I couldn't find the exact hoodie so I had to improvise." Tubbo laughed out of fluster, cheeks going pink. I nodded, giving him a thumbs up before looking to Techno and Phil sitting on Tommy's bed.
I visibly jerked away when I saw the fake gore on Techno's face. A jagged and bloody grin crossed his cheeks and it only looked creepier with the dead inside expression he had. The bags under his eyes were accentuated with dark eyeshadow and he looked paler than before.
"Don't be scared, this is what I looked like during finals week." And after he spoke, Techno beamed cheesily and gave me the corniest thumbs up, which caused me to choke back my giggles. Even covered in a (fake) bloody hoodie and holding a knife, he still manages to be non-threatening.
Phil was wiping off Techno's makeup from his hands, pushing his Eyeless Jack mask to the top of his head so he could see. He only wore a black hoodie and jeans, keeping it simple yet effective.
