Still In The Dark Pt1

(My pov)

Me: "argh I guess we all fell asleep around the fire"

I thought to myself slowly getting up and stretching my back popping a little in the process I felt myself getting thirsty blood thirsty

Me: "well honey suckle did mentioned I now had the powers of shape shifting so I guess I could distract an animal and then drain it"

I grabbed my scoped hunting rifle and my anti material rifle along with some ammunition just incase things didn't go exactly as planned and to also get the blood I needed I loaded up and set off to cure my blood thirst and to also hunt I guess

(Timeskip)

I had found a sniping position on a ridge a few miles south of the safehouse and decided to use it to hunt my prey I went prone and aimed my hunting rifle down below the ridge staying there for about 20 minutes as an Alpha Male Deathclaw was walking around the ridge

Me: "gonna need to go bigger"

I thought to myself taking out my anti material rifle and loading it with a extended magazine and took aim at the Deathclaws head I pulled the trigger hitting its head as the deathclaw fell to the ground dead I cocked the bolt of my rifle

Me: "heh never gets old"

I slid down the ridge and walked up to the deathclaws body my fangs ejected out as I removed my helmet and bit the neck drinking its blood and shape shifting into the deathclaw I felt the bones in my body cracking and my muscles stretching

Me: "gah this shit hurts but at least it worked and I totally didn't kill myself doing this"

I examined my body seeing deathclaw hands and feet I found a small body of water and checked my reflection seeing myself as a full alpha deathclaw

Me: "hmm if there was an alpha male wandering around here maybe theres a female near by maybe I can use that against her making her distracted and then end her now to find her"

(Timeskip)

After wandering around for 5 minutes I found her she turned around and noticed me

Me: "just be cool"

I thought to myself as she walked up to me sniffing me all around walking circles around me as I did the same to her she rubbed her head up against me as I then heard a roar I turned to see another alpha male deathclaw challenging me

Me: "looks like this alpha had some competition alright big guy I've already taken on a vampire let's see if you'll be any different"

I thought to myself as he roared again and charged at me I dodged out of his way scratching him in the back he roared in pain biting my tail i also roared in pain biting his shoulder and ripping one of his horns off and scratching him in the chest he slowly fell to the ground as the female went back to rubbing herself onto me my fangs came out I searched for an artery I found it and bit down as the life slowly drained from her once she fell I shifted back into my human form

Me: "ah much better"

I said to myself wiping away the blood from my mouth and heading back to the safehouse

Jake: "look who decided to show up"

I chuckled and set some deathclaw meat down in front of last night's campfire

Jason: "breakfast time already?"

He said waking up and smelling the meat

Me: "we still have some wood from last night pile it up and we'll start cooking"
