Bear And Steel Truce

Cole: "Well, let's get these parts to Lorenzo."

We entered the bunker, and immediately headed for the repair room of the facility.

Lorenzo: "Yes, did y'all need something?"

Jake: "We got the parts man."

Lorenzo: "Really? That's great news. I knew y'all could do it. I'll take those parts. Y'all should report to the elder about y'all's success."

Jake: "Yes no more ancient vaults."

We walked to the other side of the bunker into the elders command room. Jason and I immediately stepped forward.

Elder McNamara: "Hello outsiders, I have received word that y'alls mission was a success. I will say, I am proud for what y'all have done. You two have certainly come through for us, and now for my end of the bargain; as of this moment, the lockdown will be lifted, and your brother will be able to come and go as he pleases. We have also made you two sets of T45 power armor. Y'all will also-"

Cole: "Elder, I don't mean to be rude sir, but I think after what they've done for us, surely, they deserve something better than T45."

Elder McNamara: "Well, knight, what did you have in mind?"

Jason: "Y'all don't have to worry about me; I'm not really a fan of power armor"

Cole: "Okay, big bro, follow me."

I followed him through the small hallway that lead to a room filled with power armor stands, and workbenches I saw that one area, in particular, had a tarp covering it.

Cole: "I think you deserve this."

He grabbed the tarp and pulled it off, revealing a full suit of X-01 power armor.

Me: "Woah, this is the power armor that was used by the enclave... when they were still around."

Cole: "Yes, it is, and I want you to have it. Theres no doubt in my mind you've earned it."

He inserted a fusion core in the armors back valve, powering it up. I immediately turned the valve causing the armor opened up. I hopped inside, feeling the armor close around me. I felt extremely powerful. We then walked back to the elders command room, as I once again stepped forward.

Elder McNamara: "Enclave technology is dangerous, but I have no doubt that you will use this armor for good. Now, to answer my biggest question. Why did you come here?"

Me: "I won't lie, the NCR sent us to destroy you, but I'm not so sure any of us want that."

Elder McNamara: "Well as I saw in those reports, the NCR's grip on the Mojave isn't as strong as I thought it was. Perhaps they may be willing to make a truce? Bring this message to your leader I only hope she'll accept."

Me: "I wont let you down sir, the time has come for yesterday's enemies to become today's friends."

(Sorry some of these chapters have taken so long to publish I've been super busy with school and my girlfriend has started editing my chapters before I publish them so it doesn't look like a kindergartner wrote them.)
