Comet whimpered as tears streamed down his face. He tried to run towards his general's crashed ship but strong arms wrapped around Comet's chest, stopping him from going to Plo Koon.
"Wolffe, let me go! He could still be alive! We have to go check!" Comet shouted, struggling to get out of Wolffe's grip.
"Comet, we need to go. I'm sorry but we have to go." Wolffe whispered, petting Comet's hair, trying to calm him down.
"But Buir! He's-" Comet started.
"Nu kyr'adyc, shi taab'echaaj'la. Not gone, merely marching far away." Wolffe said in Mando' a, the language the clones were taught.
"Comet, we need to go. Wolffe's right, we'll all be killed if we stay. Our brothers are probably looking for us now. We have to go." Boost said, hugging Comet.
Comet didn't move when the Wolfpack ran trying to get to a hiding spot. Wolffe had to run back and put Comet on his back. Comet cried into Wolffe's shoulder, thinking about everything that Plo had done for them, which only made Comet cry even more. Boost, Sinker, and Warthog, were also shedding silent tears. All of them full of heartbreak. Wolffe felt like giving up on life, but he knew he had to keep going for his pack. Wolffe wasn't crying, he knew he would do it later, he hated crying in front of his pack.
"Wolffe, where should we go? Our brothers are everywhere! There's no where to hide!" Boost shouted.
"We should-"
"Commander Wolffe, sir, the gunships are getting prepped to take us back to the Cruiser. We are headed to Coruscant, to help aid the 501st with their attack on the Jedi Temple." A trooper said, rushing up to Wolffe.
Wolffe bit back a groan. "Good job, trooper. And the Jedi?" Wolffe said, wincing as he remembered Plo Koon.
The trooper smirked. "Dead, his fighter crashed into the building. You should've seen the explosion, sir. I think Jag should be promoted."
Wolffe glared at the trooper. "I will determine who gets promoted, not you trooper. And no, Jag will not be promoted. Now, go and go supervise the gunships and whatever." Wolffe snarled.
"Sir, yes, sir! Right away, sir!" the trooper saluted and ran off towards the gunships.
"Okay, we need to go. The forest is the best place to hide. I have hidden one of the gunships into a cave over there. We'll use that to get off of Cato Neimodia." Wolffe said, reaching a hand over his shoulder to try and calm down his crying pup.
"Why doesn't he feel bad? He just laughed! How could he? Why?" Comet wailed out, burying his face in Wolffe's shoulder.
"He's controlled by the chip. He's not our brother anymore, he's different." Warthog said, crying and trying not to think about all of his brothers that were now controlled by the chip.
"Can't we help them? We have to." Comet cried out. Wolffe's heart broke for the younger clone. He wanted to help them, he really did, but he knew he couldn't.
Wolffe didn't answer. He had formed a plan to get off the planet, earlier. The Pack wasn't going to like it, in fact they would hate it. He wasn't going to tell them the whole entire plan, just a little bit of it. "We go towards the trees, there's a gunship that I hid there. We use the gunship to get off the planet and we go to Saleucami. We hide there with Cut Lawquane, a brother who left the GAR, we'll stay there." Wolffe half-lied.
"A brother? He left? How do you even know that? We've never gone to Saleucami!" Boost shouted, very confused.
"Rex found him. It doesn't matter, just get to the trees, and make sure you're not seen. The gunship is in a cave near the edge of the forest. Take Comet and go. I'll meet you guys there." Wolffe instructed, as he put Comet on Boost's back.
"Wolffe, where are you going? Get back here!" Sinker called after Wolffe, who was running back towards the command center. Comet cried even harder, scared if something were to happen to his older brother.
"I'm getting supplies for the trip! I'll meet you at the cave, everything will be fine, trust me!" Wolffe yelled back.

"He's not coming back is he?" Comet muttered. "It's been hours and he hasn't come back. Did he get hurt?" Comet added.
Warthog hugged the pup of the Wolfpack. "No, he said he'll come back. Wolffe's fine, Comet. He'll be back soon." Warthog whispered into Comet's ear.
Boost peeked out of the cave and was relieved to see Wolffe with five backpacks of supplies. Comet flung himself out of Warthog's grip and threw his arms around Wolffe and cried.
"It's okay. I'm here, you're safe, everything's fine. We have supplies, the gunship, we can get off this planet." Wolffe reassured his little brother.
"Do we even know how to get to Saleucami?" Warthog asked. He grabbed one of the backpacks and went through it's contents.
Wolffe handed Warthog a holodisk with a map. "Here, this can help you get there. There's enough rations to last you eight full rotations. I grabbed a medpack if anything happens. There's some blankets and other things like that. I already told Cut that you're staying with him. As long as you all stick together, everything will be fine. Now go." Wolffe said as the Wolfpack walked toward the gunship.
Wolffe put the backpacks in the back of the gunship. He turned and hugged each of his Wolfpack boys. Boost got in the gunship with Comet, Sinker, and Warthog following behind him. Warthog got into the cockpit and got everything ready for take off. Comet looked around the gunship before noticing that Wolffe didn't get in the gunship.
"Wolffe, what are you doing? Come on, get in." Comet said, with a confused look. Boost and Sinker exchanged glances knowing exactly what Wolffe was doing.
"I'm staying here. I'm going back to Coruscant with the others. I have to. It's the only way to keep you guys safe. I'm sorry." Wolffe choked out, avoiding Comet's eyes.
"No. You have to come with us! We need you, Wolffe!" Comet shouted through his tears that were falling down his face. He lunged for Wolffe and tried to pull him into the gunship. Boost and Sinker grabbed Comet and pulled Comet back who let go of Wolffe.
"I'm sorry, Comet." Wolffe managed to say, tears threatening to fall down his face. He took one last look at his Wolfpack before pressing a button that closed the gunship doors.
"WOLFFE! NO! WOLFFE GET BACK HERE!" Comet screamed just as the gunship doors closed. The gunship took off with a very emotional Wolfpack in it. Comet slid down against the wall of the gunship and cried. Boost and Sinker wrapped theirselves around Comet and cried as well. Warthog cried from the cockpit, flying out of Cato Neimiodia's atmosphere.

Wolffe stood, looking down at the hastily made grave that held his Buir's burned body. He cried for his Wolfpack, the Jedi that took care of him and his Pack, and for all that he lost.
"Ni su'cuyi, gar kyr'adyc, ni partayli, gar darasuum. I'm still alive, but you are dead. I remember you, so you are eternal." Wolffe whispered, before walking off towards the gunships that were taking him back to Coruscant and to become an eventual Stormtrooper of the Galactic Empire. Wolffe was dead inside, only to be rewoken when or if he was ever going to be reunited with his Wolfpack.
