Chapter 16 – The angel with the golden wings

We got ourselves into some big trouble. I often got myself in trouble, but never this big before! I couldn't see anything for something was tied around my head - some kind of cloth? The ropes were tight around my torso and waist and had trapped my large wings against my body.

One of the Dark Angels dragged me along over the cold and hard floor and they weren't exactly being careful. My head bumped numerous times against walls, doors and God knows what else, giving me a not so great headache.

I couldn't see Raziel and Liam, but I knew they were closely, for I could hear Raziel cussing out the Dark Angels in numerous languages and colourful words. And once, Liam's furry coat bumped against me, so I knew he was close too. At least the three of us weren't separated, I have no idea what I would do if that happened.

I yelped when I was suddenly picked up and thrown somewhere, from Raziel's yell and Liam's growl I knew they were thrown away too. "What the hell?!" I shrieked and started thrashing around on the ground, trying to break free.

"Stop trashing around!" Someone - I think Lariel - hissed back at me, he kicked me in my ribs making me huff out.

Someone ripped the cloth off my eyes and I blinked before looking around. Raziel was seated next to me, his colourful blue wings stuck to his body with a red glowing rope and there was a bandana wrapped around his head, Lucifer walked up to him and ripped it up, making Raziel glare up at the Dark Angel.

The four Dark Angel's removed Liam's cloth before they turned around and fled the room. I looked around the room we were in; the walls were a surprisingly bright purple colour and there was a stoned black throne against the wall in front of us.

"Where are we?" I asked.

Liam shifted back and looked around unsure with slight fear in his eyes, "I know this place," he whimpered. I gave him a curious look, just to see him completely shaking.

"Hades' throne room," Raziel whispered with a nod of his head.

We heard a growl and looked up. My eyes widened when I saw three dogs staring at us with blazing red eyes. One was dark brown, the other was a greyish colour and the last one was pitch-black. They all had a shaggy coat and a wide mouth with thin and sharp teeth. They had short, pointy ears and thin, long tails. And much to my amusement; they all had purple collars decorated with sparkly gems.

"Hellhounds," Raziel noted.

"The black one bit me in my leg," Liam informed us, glaring at the black hellhound, who glared right back at Liam; baring his teeth with a snarl.

"That isn't very nice," I said to that, looking nervously at the three hellhounds. Two more appeared, a greyish-black one and – surprisingly – the other was pure white.

The now five hellhounds slowly stalked up to us and the white one stopped in front of me, curiously looking down at me.

"Marzia! Get back here and leave our guests alone!" A booming voice commanded.

The white hellhound – Marzia – jumped in shock and spun around. She let hear a bark and sprinted towards a man, sitting down by his feet so he could pet her head. With a snap of his fingers, the other four hellhounds also returned to his side.

I looked at the man.

He had short, spiky hair with some hair-gel that had sparkling purple glitters in it. Hard, dark brown eyes. He wore simple jeans that were torn by the knees, a lose Green Day T-Shirt that was a size too large and worn black boots that have seen their better days.
