It's Just A Silly Phase I'm Going Through.

It's been 5 months since Beverly left. No one has heard from her since. All the losers wake up in fear. Fear that maybe one day they'll wake up and see on the news that Beverly has been found dead. No one talks about it though no one tries to even think about it. Bill hasn't written to anyone is a month. That has affected Stan the most.

The losers were all sitting in Richie's bedroom, a tape Beverly made many years ago playing through Richie's shitty speakers. "Dance with me?" Richie asks Eddie. Eddie rolls his eyes but takes Richie's hand anyways. They get into a position they see people do in movies and sway back and forth. Ben, Mike and Stan were all humming the song as quiet as the could.

Eddie rests his head on Richie's chest, it made Richie feel some sort of way he's never felt before. He feels love. So much of it all at once pile on him like he's getting hit by a truck. He feels everything yet nothing. He can feel Eddie's heart beat against his chest, he can feel Eddie's hair tickle his neck, he can feel it all. This feeling was like no other, but when Richie really thought about it he felt that this is what he always felt around Eddie. Love. So much love but he just got so used to it that he never realised, but now in such a vuneraable moment it's all hitting him.

The song ends and Eddie pulls away, "You aren't that bad of a dancer Rich." Eddie complimented. This cuaght Richie off gaurd, "Uhm, thanks." Richie blushed a little. "Are... Are you blushing?" Eddie asks, "No?" Richie tries his best to hide the redness creeping onto his cheeks, apperentally it tricked Eddie, he just shrugged and laid back down on Richie's bed.

"I'm going to go out and smoke." Richie grabs his cigarettes and rushed out of his bedroom before he can hear anyone say anything.

Richie walks to his backyard and sits on a plastic chair. There was a small cheap table with Beverly's ashtray on it. Richie sighed and lit his cigarette. Love, Richie can't be in love. It was probably just heat of the moment. Richie knew that wasn't true though. He was so familiar yet so unfamiliar with that feeling. Like he's felt it a million times before but not in that type of way. It made Richie's heart swell just thinking about it.

Well, this is new... Or is it?
