"I'm not ready for 11th grade. Like at all, I'm so sick of fucking highschool. What's the point?" Richie was ranting about how stupid highschool was, "I can read." "Barely." Stan commented, "I can write." "Eh." Beverly said, "I can do basic math." "I can agree with that, Richie's actually pretty fucking good at math." Eddie pointed out, everyone else nodded, "And fuck science. I don't need science." Richie groaned, "And Mike doesn't even go to our school, which is major bullshit." Everyone agreed on that, "And p-plus I'm m-moving." Bill added, everyones head turns toward him. "What?" Ben said, "I-I'm moving..." Everyone sat in silence, "Are you for real?" Richie asked, Bill sniffed and nodded, "I-I'm sorry you g-g-guys. Ever since G-Goergie was murdered w-we just c-can't. T-too many memories..." Beverly pulled him into a hug, soon everyones arms were wrapped around him. "I can't believe this." Richie said, for the first time in a long time Richie was actually speechless. Richie saw that Eddie was silently crying and pulled him into a hug. He didn't care his shirt was getting wet. "I'm sorry." Beverly patted Bill's shoulder, "Hey, don't be sorry. It isn't your fault. We'll stay in contact." Bill nodded, "When are you leaving?" Richie asked, "Next month, we still have time." Stan grabbed Bill's hand, "We can all get through this, we were bound to get somewhat seperated one day. It'll all work out in the end." Stan was always the wise one of the group, he always knew what to say and how and when to say it.
"Stan should be our president." Richie said causing everyone to laugh a little, even Eddie who was still clinging onto Richie for dear life. "Hey! I made Eddie laugh! He never laughs!" Eddie swatted his shoulder.
Soon each of the losers slowly left Richie's house, "Hey Eds." Eddie hummed in response, "Can you stay here, I don't think I can be alone tonight. Plus, my parents aren't home." Richie's parents are never home. "Yeah, can I call my mom real quick?" "Yeah, you know where the phone is."
"Hey momma, I'm staying at Bill's. Yeah, I got my pills... I'll see you tomorrow." Eddie dials Bill's number, "Hey Bill... If my mom calls say I'm there with you... Okay thanks Bill, bye." Eddie goes into Richie's room and sees him sitting on the floor, "You know there's a bed right there." Eddie pointed out, "I know, I just felt like sitting on the floor." Even when Richie was joking around it was obvious he was upset. "Hey, don't focus on Bill moving right now, we still have a month with him. It'll be alright. You caan write to him, and call him, it'll be alright." Eddie sat next to Richie on the floor, "Yeah, I guess." Richie put his head on Eddie's shoulder, "How are you handling all of this?" Richie asked, "Like shit, but I'm just focusing on now." Richie grabbed Eddie's hand, "What if you have to leave?" Richie asked, "There is a possibility of that happening... But don't focus on that. Okay?" Richie nods and pulls Eddie up into his bed. "Get good sleep, okay?" Eddie says, "Yeah, goodnight Eds." "Goodnight Chee." Eddie snuggles up close to Richie and falls into a deep sleep.
He knows if he wasn't with Richie he would have never fallen asleep.
AN I'm having fun with this!
