"Richie?" Mike knocked on Richie's front door. "Richie!" Mike yelled. "What?!" Richie yelled back. "Richie! You need to leave this house, you've been in there for two weeks straight! We miss you buddy." Richie groaned and slowly opened the door. Mike gasped. "Richie, what the fuck. You need to take care of yourself." Mike sighed. "I'm fine." Richie lied, "Bulshit, please take a shower and we'll talk, okay?" Richie nodded and walked towards his bathroom.

"Rich?" Mike asked after they sat in fifteen minutes of silence. "Hm?" "Richie... You gotta talk to me. What's up?" Mike asked. "So fucking much is up Mike. My best friends gone. He was my world Mike, he still is. Why did he leave?" Richie rubbed his knuckles, "Richie, it wasn't his choice, you have to understand that, he didn't leave you, he was forced to leave. One day you'll be back together and it'll all be okay." Richie shook his head, "But... What if he meets someone, what if they fall in love and move in and get married have kids, he will never think of me again." Mike raised an eyebrow, "Why does it matter if he's married or not?" Mike asked, "Ugh! Dont you understand? I'm in love with him, Damn it! I love him!" Richie covered his mouth with with his hand, his eyes went wide. "Oh, Richie." Mike pullled Richie into a tight side hug, "You know I love you man, but you are so oblivious." "What do you mean?" Richie asked, "Nevermind." Mike rubbed Richie's shoulder, "You should tell him." Mike whispered, "God no. He'll never write back to me, it'll be a shit show." Mike sighed, "But don't you want to be with him? Aren't you in love with him? You don't want him to meet someone else, right? There's a better chance of that not happening if you speak up and say how you feel." Mike pointed out, "I just... I can't Mike." Richie rubbed his eyes, "You can one day."
