"Uncle Chee!" Richie put down his backpack and picked up Beverly, "Hey little Bev! Where's your daddy?" Richie could hear Eddie laugh. Richie put down Beverly and pulled Eddie into a hug.
"We have the guest room ready for you. Thank you for visiting Rich." Richie smiled, "Thank you for letting me stay here."
Richie felt someone tug on the sleeve of his sweater, "Uncle Chee, uncle Chee! Guess what!" Richie picked up Beverly, "What?" "Me and daddy watched you on TV! You were on a stage and talking!" Richie glaced towards Eddie, "Is that so?"
Richie swore he could see Eddie blush but maybe it was just his imagination.
"Myras out shopping. Here let me help you unpack." Eddie offered. "Thank you."
Richie looked around the guest bedroom. It was very modern. White walls with mainly white art. The duvet was grey and there were two white tables next to the bed.
"There's a closet where you can hang up your stuff if you want. Knowing you you'd probably just keep everything in your bag." Richie rolled his eyes, "I'm so used to living in my backpack now. I'm only going to be here for three days, I don't need to unpack." Eddie shrugged, "You do you." Eddie walked out the room and Richie looked at the pictures up on the guest room walls.
There was a small picture on the bedside table of Eddie and Myra at the beach. Richie gently laid down the picture so he couldn't see the image.
