Chapter 27 - Game

I was greeted by Finn and Julie in his new hotel in Greece. It's a really beautiful hotel and he's done it again. Finn is a definition of a perfect man in my eyes and again his standards in woman right now is so low. I asked my men to bring the products to the hotel and Finn opened it himself.

My phone couldn't stop vibrating and who else would it be? It's none other than Phoenix Sterling himself.

Finn suddenly asked Julie to leave tthe both of us and I'm a little bit confuse. Finn led me to the pool and he let out a long sigh.

"What's wrong?" I asked.

"Do you have any idea how to make a surprise party?" He asked and I raised my eyebrows.

"For what? Julie's birthday?"

"I want to propose actually." Holy shit.

"Propose?" I repeated.

"Yeah, I'm so in love with her that I think she's the one." Poor Finn, he's really out here caring and loving Julie when she's busy fucking other man.

"I'm not really good at making surprises but a private dinner will do. Especially in this beautiful island of Greece." I said smiling to him and Finn chuckled nodding.

"Are you sure she's the one?" I asked.

"When you know, you know." He said as he pulled out the ring from his pocket. My eyes widen seeing it because he's not playing around. What should I do? Tell him the truth? He won't believe me.

"I hope the best for you both." I ended up not being able to tell him.

"Do you want to grab lunch together?" He asked and I shook my head.

"Thankyou but I have to meet an old friend. He's kinda grumpy if I'm late." I said and he chuckled.

"Very well, I'll see you." He walked away and I took out my phone annoyed. Phoenix never stopped calling me e moment me and Finn talking with each other. I picked up the phone right away.

"What took you so long? What's with the chit chat?" What's wrong with this man?

"Listen grumpy man, I'm working and you should understand that. Stop calling me and entertain yourself!" I hissed and ended the call. My eyes landed on some people bringing my products and I decided to follow them.

I looked around to see if Julie and Finn around but nope. I kept following them and acted natural so they won't suspect anything. When they turned to another hallway, I heard Julie's voice.

Instead of following my products to see if it's save or not, I decided to follow Julie's voice. She's currently inside a storage room yelling at someone over the phone.

"What did she say? She couldn't find it again?" Julie sighed and I tried my best to listen what's going on.

"She's fucking useless, why would Phoenix hire someone who's that dumb?" Phoenix? Why does Phoenix suddenly in the picture?

"Lana? Lana is in Greece, she delivered the products by herself. Phoenix has an important exhibition to attend tomorrow so he must be in Paris. What do you mean that he's not in Paris? Where could he be?" Julie is something really. How dare she.. trying to track Phoenix's whereabouts.

"He will kill me if I don't get that access card in 3 days, I've tried everything already!" Shit! She's coming out from the room. I quickly hid myself by going to the long hallway beside it.

My phone vibrated again and I quickly walked towards the pool because that way I could have a faster access to the lobby. I walked out from the hotel and got into the car.

"What took you so long?" Phoenix asked in a high tone.

"I'm working!" I hissed and I told my chauffer to go to our hotel. There's a lot of things going in my mind because of the conversation that Julie had earlier.

"I'm planning to stay here for 3 nights. Are you planning to go back to Paris soon?" I turned to him and he raised his eyebrows. "Why staying?"

"I want to have a.. vacation." I said awkwardly.

"It's okay if you want to go, you have an exhibition right? You better go."

"You're telling me, you're going to be here with Finn?" He pulled my body to his lap. I pushed him away and he shook his head.

"I'm not with Finn, he's with Julie." I said and Phoenix chuckled.

"She's going to the exhibition."

"You should go to." I said smiling sweetly at him and he rolled his eyes. "I'm staying here, work can wait. I'm the boss anyway." He said as he gave me a kiss on my cheek.

"Fine." I said and we arrived at the hotel. I checked in my room and walked towards the lift with Phoenix tailing me the whole time. "You should get a room." I said.

"No, why should I?" I turned to him disbelief.

"Get a room, Phoenix."

"Why should I get a separate room from my wife? Why?" He asked in a loud tone. I covered his mouth and dragged him into the lift. "You did not just say that!"

"I hate you." I hissed and he chuckled. He smirked knowing that I don't have any other choice. We walked out from the lift and trying to find the room.

"So why are you suddenly want to have a vacation here?" He asked as I opened the door. I gestured him to get in and closed the door.

"It's been a long time since I come here and why not?"

"Don't tell me you're here to get cozy with Finn?" He asked and I rolled my eyes. I threw my body to the bed and Phoenix laid beside me.

"That would be nice." I whispered and suddenly Phoenix got on top of me. He narrowed his eyes at me.

"What?"

"You really know how to play the game huh?" He asked and I chuckled.

"What game? I have no idea." I pretended to be dumb.

"If you do that again, you know where we will end up with."
