Chapter 25 - Fight

After debating with Finn, I decided to deliver my products to him personally. I wanted to make sure that there won't be any acid this time and I want to watch Julie carefully because I know if I'm there, she won't be able to do anything.

I already have my private jet ready with all of my products and I walked out from my hotel room to go to Greece. I got into the lift and went down to the lobby.

"Where are you going?" I flinched when I heard Phoenix's voice and I looked up to see him standing there looking at me. I turned around to see some people looking at us amused. I walked towards him and I don't want him to cause any trouble by talking in a loud voice.

"I'm going to Greece, I have bring some products for Finn." I said as I continued to walk.

"Oh now you're seeing Finn again?" What's wrong with this man? I swear he is getting weird each day.

"I don't have time to argue with you, I'm already late." He stopped me by holding my arm and I turned to him annoyed.

"I'm coming with you." I pushed his hand away and tried to stay calm as possible because people were looking at the both of us.

"I can manage it." I smiled and walked towards my car. My chauffer already opened the door for me and I got in.

"What the hell?!" She snapped when Phoenix got into the car as well. He must be so crazy lately and I really want to smack the shit out of him.

"I'm coming with you." He said and I don't have any other choice but to let him. My chauffer closed the door and I closed the window between my chauffer and us, the passengers.

"Don't you have work? I really don't have time to argue with you." I said as I took my phone out from my bag that still has a big crack on the screen because of this barbaric man.

"You didn't come home for 5 days? Why?" He asked as I texted my secretary that I'm already on my way to the airport.

"I'm not in the mood to see you." I said honestly.

"You didn't even come to work."

"I'm not in the mood to see my father either." I added and he sighed.

"Did I do something wrong?" He asked and I wanted to laugh at his question. He didn't do anything wrong, I'm the one who probably hit my head too hard. I don't know what's wrong with me.

"Don't you have work? I can go to Greece by myself."

"What? Be alone with Finn?" I turned to him and he was already looking at me raising his eyebrows.

"What's with you and your questions?" I snapped and he shut his mouth. I'm glad that he decided to stay silent or else I will smack the back of his head and kick him out from the car.

I checked some emails to see files that my secretary wants me to check. I've been resting for 5 days and it's time to get back on track again. I have to work even though I hate my father or else he will ruin the company because he's busy sleeping with Julie.

"I'm sorry." I froze when I heard Phoenix said that. I turned to him and he was already looking at me.

"If I did something wrong, I'm sorry. I don't know why you're mad at me and even sleep at the hotel." He said and I seriously think that something's wrong with his head.

"After we got back from Greece, don't sleep at the hotel again." He turned to the window after he finished and I found myself secretly smiling. We didn't talk for the rest of the car ride to the airport.

"Thankyou." I said to my chauffer as he opened the door for me. I got out from the car and walked into my private jet. I saw all the products already inside of the plane and my secretary reported me that she already check everything.

I sat on the seat next to the window and Phoenix sat beside me. I put on my seatbelt and looked out the window.

"Leave us alone please." I turned to my secretary and she separates my employees and the both of us with curtains. I turned to Phoenix and sighed.

"Julie will be in Greece with Finn. I had to personally bring the products and have it on my watch so she couldn't do anything to it. The both of them don't know that we have this arrangement and I want to keep it that way. So once we're there, I want you to stay at the hotel and wait for me."

"I could have just make an excuse why I'm in Greece." He suggested.

"No, I rather have you off the radar." I said seriously.

"Lana, you really can't be alone with Julie. She might have acid or something that can kill you."

"I don't need you to worry about me. Save that act for someone else, I really don't ne-"

"What?" He cut me and we both looked at each other angrily.

"Mind your own business, this is mine. I'm the one who has problems with Julie, not you. I don't need you to pretend to be worry or try help me." I said without turning away.

"I told you to let me take over! Why are you being so stubborn?" He raised his voice.

"You don't have the rights to interfere my business so you should back off and I'll settle this matter myself." I said.

"I'm your husband and I have the rights to do that!" I raised his voice and I bet all of my employees already heard it. He just exposed our relationship like that.

"Fake.." I said in a small tone.

"You're really testing my patience for the past 5 days, Lana. I've been losing sleep and constantly waiting for you to come home! Now, you're telling me to fuck off when all I did was trying to protect you!" He bursted angrily and I looked at him disbelief.

"I never asked you to wait for me and I never asked you to protect me! Why are you doing things that you're not suppose to be doing? You're crazy!" I hissed and I took off my seatbelt to move to another seat.

"Sit down.. we're going to take off!" He put me back to my seat and put my seatbelt again. I decided not to fight him anymore.
