Phoenix Sterling

"Nervous?" My father asked as he fixed my tie. I nodded and my father chuckled. Today is the day where I have my wedding ceremony with Lana. We decided to have our real vows this time even though we already legally married for a few months now.

I love her even though I'm still working on telling her that.

I'm doing great these days. Lana has been so amazing and she just makes me more happy everyday. She's really the right person for me and I wouldn't want to have it other way.

I'm glad that I fell in love with the right person and can't wait to spend the rest of my life with her.

The wedding started and I walked down the aisle first. My family and friends were there and they're so happy for me. They're glad that I decided to settle down. I stood at the fromt and scanned all the guest looking for Adrian, Angelo, Chance and Dean but none.

None of them come. I can say thay I'm sad that none of them come but I know they're watching me from a far.

When Lana stood at the door, everyone stood up and I smiled. She looked so beautiful in her wedding dress and our eyes locked. She smiled widely at me and she walked slowly down the aisle.

I took her hand and kissed it. "You look so beautiful." I whispered and she giggled. We both stood side by side as the priest started to bless us.

"You may say your vows." The priest said to me and I turned to Lana holding both of her hands.

"Lana, our first meeting wasn't the best but it was interesting. We got to know each other and found ourselves slowly falling for each other. I'm so glad that you're the one for me. I know I'm still lacking with a lot of things but I promise that I will protect you, take care of you and grow old with you." I said and Lana held my hands tighter. She smiled and I chuckled.

"I.. love you, Lana Castroff." Her eyes widen when I said that because it was my first time saying it to her. Her eyes started to tear up.

"I know keeping up with me won't be easy but I promise you that I will do my best to be your husband. I love you so much Lana Castroff and I'm willing to give the world to you. I'm yours." She bit her lips and nodded.

"You may say your vows." The priest turned to Lana.

"Phoenix, when my world was crumbling in front of my eyes, you're there for me. I never thought I would find someone like you in this world. Nothing could describe how much I love you and how much I can't wait to spend my whole life with you. You're the best thing that's happened to me." She said looking at me tearing up. I wiped her tears quickly.

"I promise that I will take care of you, love you, stay with you even though you're grumpy sometimes." The whole guest laughed at her statement.

"I will try to be the best wife for you and I really can't wait to see what the future hold. I'm ready to face this cruel world with you. I love you so much, Phoenix Sterling." She said chuckling in the end and I smiled.

"Now.. I pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride." The priest announced and I kissed her slowly. We both could hear the whole guest clapping their hands. I could her my mother cheering and crying on the side.

We looked at each other and walked down the aisle together. We walked out from the church together and took a lot of pictures together. When we're busying laughing and enjoying the photo session, my eyes caught the sight of the ILLICIT members.

My whole body froze for a second. Adrian smiled and waved at me. Angelo, Chance and Dean just stood there looking at me. My emotions started to get the best of me. They're watching me from afar.

Dean then turned around first, the rest followed him and they drove away.

It was short but it meant a lot to me. I felt Lana caressing my hand and I turned to her.

"Are you okay?" She asked and I smiled nodding.

"Yeah." I found my voice cracking and she kissed my cheek.

"I love you so much, Phoenix." She said and I chuckled as I cupped her face.

"I love you too, Mrs. Sterling."

I was more than ready to open this new chapter in life. My life with Lana, the love of my life. I can't wait for that the future holds. I'm excited, nervous and just.. hope that everything will go smooth.

I've been running so hard throughout my life and it's time for me to lay back enjoying life. Everything will be okay even though I will have to cope with my emotions when it comes to ILLICIT.

They will come around, I know they will. I love them and they love me as well. I'm their brother, they won't be able to get rid of me that easily. I will be watching them as well, I made a new team for myself since I'm not a part of ILLICIT anymore.

I have to go on my own for now and it's okay. Everyone needs to grow up and go out from their comfort zone once in life. I couldn't be more grateful for what I have now.

ILLICIT, I'll see you again.. this is not a goodbye.
