Why ( Kang Seulgi + Lee Taeyong)

Chapter 22 - I Love You

It had only been a day since they had been together. That night they parted from each other , thinking they were the luckiest people in the world. All their friends and family were so supportive of their relationship. Seulgi hadn't met or talked to her mom since she met her father. She occasionally saw news in which they mentioned her , the ceo of a famous company loosing stocks from careless deals. She would be lying if she said she didn't feel bad , but she couldn't do anything about it.

Today , Taeyong and Seulgi were supposed to meet , their first date as an official couple .Doyoung had gone to his parents place for a week , and Taeyong thought it would be a great idea for her to stay with him that time. Her father was a little reluctant , but he had seen how Taeyong smiled at her , or admired her when she wasn't looking , her father knew Taeyong really loved her.

She was taken aback when Taeyong first asked her about living together , but she agreed nevertheless. Taeyong went to her house to help her get her luggage. She carried a small suitcase with her , which had all her clothes and other essentials. When they met , they greeted each other with a smile and a hug and he quickly placed a small kiss on her forehead.  He immediately closed the door and headed to his apartment with her.

"So, what do you want to do today Seulgi?" Taeyong asked , looking in her direction , as they walked to his house.
"I don't know? You decide" she said.
"No no , your wish is my command" Taeyong says , winking at her.
"Haha , ok let's have a movie marathon!" Seulgi's says , excited.
"Ok, sure!" Taeyong replied.

Thy reached his house , and Taeyong helped her keep her stuff in the side of his room. She went to freshen up while Taeyong got the snacks for the movie prepared. She stepped out and saw Taeyong building something. She went near him.

"What are you doing?" She asked , placing a hand on his back.
"I'm building a pillow fort." He said simply.
She started at him in awe , like he read her mind , she had the same idea in mind.
"I was thinking of that too!" Seulgi said with widened eyes and a wide smile.
"I'm not surprised , couples are usually in sync." Taeyong said winking at Seulgi.

Seulgi went to get some pillows and blankets from Taeyong's room. She then saw his table. It was a big one , very clattered and messy. She looked around exploring his room. She noticed the shoes kept on his table , some markers scattered around them, he was probably customizing them. Impressive. She looked above the table's mirror , to see the bold letters 'SPECIAL'. Under those letters were pictures , lots of scattered pictures. Some of them she recognized , his younger self , with two adults , probably Doyoung's parents. She also saw pictures with him and his friends , she recognized Doyoung and Jaehyun there.

She looked down to see one picture , it was her. A picture they took yesterday , his arm was around her shoulders , her one arm was in the air , enjoying the atmosphere . She smiled to herself seeing the heart on the bottom of the picture. She was glad she was a special part of his life, just how he was to her.

She came out of the room holding sheets,pillows and blankets. She approached a very focused Taeyong from behind , being careful not to distract him. She opened up one of the blankets , and suddenly put on top of his head , causing him to let out a small high pitched scream , he suddenly held Seulgi tight and hugged her gor support , from the scare he just got , while Seulgi was laughing her head off.

After they finally finished building the fort, they settled inside it. Pillows surrounding them , the fairy lights hung above them made he otherwise dark room just a little bit brighter. Taeyong then played the movie and leaned back onto the wall. She followed him and leaned back too. She went a little closer to Taeyong. He noticed it and put his arm around her shoulders pulling her closer. She slightly snuggled on his chest and they watched the movie like that . After the movie was over , Seulgi got up to get snacks while Taeyong played the next movie. She heated some popcorn and took some drinks out from the freezer. After about 20 minutes she came back to see Taeyong peacefully sleeping , his head slightly tilted , the remote of the tv still in his hands.

She smiled at him again for the hundredth time today , she felt herself falling for him all over again. She slowly went to him , not wanting to wake him up , and hugged him from the side , she tried to fall asleep with him. Taeyong was not fully asleep , he sensed Seulgi close to him , he wrapped his hand over her shoulders again .

"I love you...." Taeyong said , his eyes still shut , smiling slightly , half asleep.
"And I love you too" Seulgi said , give him a peck before entering dream land.
