Kang Seulgi. Just another stereotypical rich girl who went to a prestigious college filled with brats who live off their parents. She looked ordinary. The ordinary look on her face hid an extraordinary story behind it. She wasn't the person who she seemed to be. She was the Ice Queen of the school . An emotionless , cold and unbothered person . All she cared about was her grades. She barely talked to anyone but Joohyun.
"Joohyun ... study with me today . I don't want to be alone."

Bae Joohyun. Another girl going to a prestigious school. She too , was very rich but she had manners and she wasn't bratty. She was the sole friend of Seulgi that she could trust.
Joohyun was used to Seulgi's coldness .
Seulgi was never herself at school. After school got over , they went to a cafe , where they sat down to study . They finished after a while and bid goodbyes and headed home. Seulgi didn't want to go home. She had no choice. She would always have to return home.
She goes home and opens the door as quietly as she can . She was trying not to make a single noise. She didn't want to face her. Her. Kang Eunbi. Her 'mother'. That's right, she couldn't call her mother.
Kang Eunbi. An alcoholic person , who was ditched by her husband. She is the ceo of a famous company and she has suicidal thoughts. Sometimes she forgets Seulgi exists. When she does remember, she abuses her . Probably when she is drunk.
Seulgi wasn't afraid of her anymore . She was used to it . She just didn't want to awake the 'monster' . She wasn't in the mood to get hurt.
She slipped past and went to her room . She plopped down and thought. She thought about her life. It had all been a mess. She thought about her collage , her friend and the people she was interested in. In fact speaking of people she was interested in , she thought about Lee Taeyong.
Lee Taeyong. Another person at the prestigious college but he wasn't rich , nor was he bratty. He came to this college through a scholarship and and worked hard to get to where he is right now. He was only focused on his grades because he wanted to have a good future ahead of him. He hid a secret too.
Seulgi thought about him as he was taking over the top ranks in every class very quickly. She didn't have the first rank , she was usually at 3rd or 4th but she was still surprised how he climbed up the ranks so quick. Thinking about her problems , she fell asleep.
