Why ( Kang Seulgi + Lee Taeyong)

Chapter 21 - Official

Doyoung and Taeyong reached home , after boring goodbye to Jaehyun. Doyoung fell asleep soon , he was pretty tired. Taeyong on the other hand was lying on his bed. He was still thinking about Seulgi. He felt so good to be with her. He wished he could be with her for longer , make her smile , and laugh together. He would be lying if he said he wasn't planning on asking her to be his girlfriend. But the problem was he didn't know how. Seulgi was a very beautiful girl , inside and out. If she chose him to like , he has to show her how much she means to him . He needs to make it perfect , but he just doesn't know how. Deep in his thoughts , his eyes soon gave in and he fell asleep.

Seulgi on the other hand was awake for a long time talking or Joohyun about what happened. Everything on the mall , to the place where he took her l she explained every single detail and fangirled about it along with Joohyun.

Th next day , Taeyong and Doyoung were early at college , they were last minute cramming for the upcoming finals. Seulgi and Joohyun had been constantly studying , from time to time , Seulgi got a lot more time and freedom since she has been living with her dad , he gives her space , but they spend time together too. She couldn't be happier right now.

Taeyong and Doyoung were way too busy studying for the past few days , they hadn't talked to their respective crushes. Sooyoung and Seulgi were confused as of why they weren't hanging out , in fact they had recently confessed , Seulgi expected Taeyong to ask her out soon . Sooyoung and Doyoung had decided to take it slow because of Doyoung's crush on Joohyun.

All of them kept studying, they didn't talk much , just a few texts here and there. 2 weeks passed by and the finals were already here. They all gave their exams diligently . Seulgi ,Mirae , Taeyong and Youngho particularly were the toppers of the school , they expected to get good marks this time too. Seulgi had no pressure on topping this time , she was very capable of topping , so this time she tried her best to top. Taeyong was naturally , extremely smart , even though he crammed , he still had the capability to top. The exams got over and now they were free. They couldn't believe that this was their last exams of college. Their education was officially going to be over soon.

Taeyong and Seulgi didn't spend much time so they missed each other a lot. He called her right after the exams got over , to hang out. Just a simple walk out in the woods , and a cup of coffee together seemed like the perfect date for the both of them. Taeyong came to pick her up from her house , her dad grinning in victory , he predicted that they would get together. Taeyong stayed back for few minutes , at Seulgi's house and Seulgi waited outside for him.

Both of them headed out , and walked beside each other. The atmosphere was pretty awkward. Taeyong noticed it and took Seulgi's hand in his. She was surprised but he action but didn't flinch. She instead intertwined her fingers with his. He gave her a small smile in return and winked at her , causing both of them to chuckle. Just like that the awkwardness was gone. They walked together , enjoying each other's company in a comfortable silence.

They drank coffee and talked about the most random thing that came into their minds, sharing everything with each other , getting to know each other better. Before the realized it , night was already here. Time really flies by when you are with someone you are fond of. Taeyong and Seulgi split the bill and headed out of the cafe , still hand in hand. He told her he is taking her somewhere else before heading home. He took her back to that place. The place where they confessed.

"Seulgi...I confessed to you here....so I thought I would ask you this here too..." Taeyong said , rubbing the back of his neck , her was nervous again.
Seulgi started to realized what was going on . She was speechless.
"Will you be my girlfriend?" Taeyong asked her.
"Yes! Yes! Yesssss!" Seulgi said and jumped into Taeyong's arms. He was so happy she said yes.
He asked her in a simple way , not wanting to overdo things. She was a simple girl and he thought she would like this.

"I even got your fathers permission for this Seulgi , you know how awkward that was?" Taeyong said chuckling and patting Seulgi's head that was now pressed to his chest.
"Whatttttt? He agreed too?" She said laughing because Taeyong had winked at her once again.

They couldn't be happier than what they were now. At least that's what they thought.
