Chapter 17 - Planning For The Better

Over the days , Jaehyun and Seulgi spent a lot of time together. They caught up on all the stuff they missed out on while they were apart. Seulgi was having a great time , she almost forgot that she even had an abusive mother. Ever since she met Taeyong , her true personality started to bloom , instead of the mask she was wearing before , her real , cheerful, personality came out and Taeyong was so grateful that Seulgi was now opening up to others and not being cold.

Taeyong wanted to see Seulgi today. Ever since the time when she hugged Jaehyun , he felt a weird uneasiness when he thought of him . He was his friend , but he still didn't want Jaehyun to be the one putting a smile on Seulgi's face. He started to catch on , he now realizes he has feelings for her. He wanted to test his theory , he went to Seulgi's house to see her and if his heart rate increases , it was pretty obvious he liked her. He headed to Seulgi's house , but what he found there didn't make happy. His heart raced once he saw Seulgi but Seulgi was hugging Jaehyun again , this time he even stroked her hair and flicked her forehead because she had promised to spend time with him , but at that time she said she wanted to meet Taeyong. Jaehyun denied , saying she could spend how much every time with him after they are married , but for some time her wanted to hang with his best friend. Taeyong didn't know that. He quickly his behind the wall , so they wouldn't notice him.

"What did I think , of course , he is the better one anyways , she would never choose me over him." He said.
He walked away , his cheerful mood crushed , now replaced by a gloomy one.
Doyoung sees him down and figured out it was because of Seulgi. He acted like that when he found out Joohyun was dating Youngho too . But he moved on now , and was completely fine from the past 2 weeks , he even started looking at other girls. He didn't like seeing Taeyong like this. He immediately knew what to do and headed out of the apartment. Taeyong didn't even notice , lost in his own thoughts.

Doyoung rang Joohyun's doorbell. She opened the door , surprised to see Doyoung there , since he didn't ask her before coming.
"I need to talk to you." He said.
"Sure.. come in...." she said.
"You've seen Taeyong being down these days. You know why? He likes your friend. Seulgi. And by the way I look at it , I think she likes him back. Jaehyun is around her too much , he isn't going to confess anymore , his hopes are crushed." He stated blankly.
Joohyun froze for a second , she didn't know Taeyong liked Seulgi back.
"Yeah she likes him too... you said he won't confess? But Seulgi... I haven't seen her this happy since we were little kids ... what will we do? Graduation is near too...if they aren't together now... when will they be?" She asked.

Doyoung nodded in agreement. He couldn't help but to stare at her , she was his ex-crush after all. The atmosphere was still awkward between them.
"Why are you looking at me like that?" She asked.
"Well .... I used to like you..." he said , softly.
"I know that , I hope you know I'm dating Youngho ... and also , my friend Sooyoung likes you...." she said .
"I can't help but tell it to you , I can imagine you both , it would be a match made in heaven !" She said.
Doyoung was kind of flustered. He wouldn't be saying the truth if he said he hadn't noticed her before. She was very beautiful.

"Yeah sure..... anyways , I don't want Taeyong to end up like me so help me get those two together." Doyoung said.
"Sure.. you know the holiday coming up , all malls will be closed...." She said in an excited voice.
"We can set them up in a way that they get locked together in a mall for about 5-6 hours! We can make them stay there until the closing timings and then ditch them . That way they will be sure to tell each other how they feel!" She said.
"Oh my god ! Your a genius!" He said.
