Chapter 38.

Tyler's pov;

I've been gone for nearly a month and not heard a thing from katie.

I left her all by herself... She must be pretty mad.

I've called the office, gym , home phone and even her cell but she won't pick up. sometimes it doesn't even ring.

I've asked for a break so I can try and work things out with her and then maybe bring her for the rest of the mission.

The hard and risky part is done so she will be safe.

"Cya guys I'll be back with katie in a week, two at the most!" I shouted while boarding my private jet.

I relaxed while the plane was taking off and fell into a deep slumber.

Katie pov;

On the ride home it was a little awkward. Jason was trying to make conversation but I was still mad at him.

"I'm sorry I'm doing this.." Jason grabbed my wrist.

He looked down and noticed the bracelet he gave me when we went on a sort of 'date'.

He looked up and gave me a warm smile.

"Yes I still wear it." I sighed while folding my arms.

He pulled the car up and I jumped out.

I skipped to the front door to stop dead in my tracks.

"Oh my god! Tyler!!!!!!!!" I screamed while leaping into his arms.

"Thought I would find you here!" He chuckled while holding me tightly.

"...tyler?" Jason sighed from behind.

Jason looked into my eyes with worry.

"So why are you here sis?" He smiled at jason giving a nod saying hi.

"Well..." I started on making Jason's breath hitch.

"I wanted to say hello.. To jason. Ariana and demi." I laughed.

Jason sighed.

"Well anyway katie do you want to join our mission?" Tyler chuckled while poking her side making her giggle.

"DO I?!!" She screamed in joy.

"Katie can I speak with you for a moment." Jason cleared his throat.

I nodded letting go of tyler and followed him into the house and saw tyler speak to the other Gang.

He shut the door and pinned me up against it.

"Say no or I'll kill your brother." He growled in my face.

"Your bluffing." I scrunched my face up challenging him.

"Don't test me if I were you. I don't care for him. I won't hesitate." He venomously spat.

"But you care for me. So you won't put me through that pain." I smirked.

Jason's pov;

I slammed her against the door causing her to fall in pain.

"If this is what it takes to keep you. So be it." I glared at her

Gripped my pistol from my belt and swung open the door making sure it smacked off katie so she didn't get in my way.

I pulled out the pistol and aimed it at tyler and shot him twice in the shoulder and neck.

"YOU WONT TAKE HER!" I screamed.

Katie came racing out and collapsed on tyler.

"NOOOO! TYLER STAY WITH ME!!!" She sobbed holding him.

"HELP ME DONT JUST STAND THERE !!!" She cried out with desperation.

I looked around coldly showing no emotion glaring at my Gang to make sure they don't help. He will be dead anyway.

"Help me..." She whispered while he was taking his last breaths.
