Chapter 12- Chained

(Y/N)'s POV

The place was already dark as it is and the tightly wrapped chains around my wrist didn't help either. I had been struggling to escape for at least a few hours but no matter how hard I pulled or angled my body there was no way I could finesse my way out. I soon heard a car turn off outside and started to assume the worst. Maybe Tarlock was one of those sick dudes that needs test subjects or he just wanted to come back and torture me for information. The door to the basement hoped and I scooted into the corner so he wouldn't see me. I look up to see Korra being bloodbended into the air and into the metal capsule in the middle of the room. Korra mustn't have seen me because she could fight the powerful control of bloodbending. "Korra? Are you ok?" I ask and she continues to panic even more. "(Y/N)? Is this where you've been? Ugh when I get my hands on Tarlock." She mumbles hoping I didn't hear her last sentence. "I'm fine, let's just figure out a way out of here." I say and Korra continues to bang on the metal capsule she was locked in.

Asami's POV

I've been in this cell since last night. I lay down and look at the ceiling reflecting on (Y/N). She's been through so much and Korra's blinded by her own feelings to see that she's hurting. Before we got arrested (Y/N) told me about her and Korra's various talks, I thought my life was complicated but (Y/N) her mind is constantly being conflicted, yet she still managed to put everyone before herself. The door to my cell opens and I see Chief Lin Beifong standing there. We get to Mako and Bolin's cell and Chief Beifong opens the door. I rush to Mako and kiss him out of worry for his well being. Lin interrupts our moment to tell us Korra's been captured. I saw Mako's face drop with concern. It seems like he cares more for her than I thought. "Not only that but there's a chance (Y/N) could have been captured too." Then me and Bolin's eyes widened in shock. No wonder I didn't hear her smart remarks against the cops last night. We walk out of the cell and make a plan to find Korra and (Y/N).

We soon found our way to the tunnels where Korra and (Y/N) could be. Mako seemed extremely worried about Korra so I wanted to ask Bolin about it. "I mean, there was this one time during the tournament when Mako and Korra kissed but-" He said. "They kissed?" I questioned interrupting him. My mind was going a million miles per hour. "Believe me (Y/N) and I were upset too. But I'm over it and I'm sure (Y/N) and Korra are going to end up together anyway. I don't think it meant anything." Bolin said. (Y/N) knew and she didn't tell me. She has been acting strange around Mako. Maybe she didn't want to get involved; she has enough problems right now. But I couldn't help but doubt that Mako didn't feel anything for Korra. I was going to continue walking when motorcycles were heard from a distance. We all hid behind a pillar and waited. They soon opened a hidden door that was disguised as a normal looking wall. Chief Beifong then opened the door and we made our way to a tram that leads straight to the prison.

(Y/N)'s POV

Ok so it's been at least 4 hours since Korra started meditating. I have no idea what's been going on in that head of hers but we both tense up at the sound of a door opening. Luckily I pulled my chains hard enough to reach my things. Tarlock walks down and I pretend to still be in the corner he tied me in. All he does is blame Korra because our friends found out about his bloodbending secret. Then Korra revealed that Tarlock was Yakone's son. I had only heard stories about Yakone and his merciless ways. It shook me to my very core, no wonder Tarlock gave me that sick feeling in my stomach. "I'll escape and start a new life. And you two are coming as my hostages." He says and that's when I grab my things. I go over to the metal box and try to get the door but I freeze when me and her hear Amon's name. "(Y/N) go, run or hide or something." Korra whispers as we hear fighting. Before I could protest Amon tells his men to capture the both of us. I ran up the stairs to see Amon and his men, I quickly ran past Amon carrying Tarlock and hit the snow. None of them chased after me so I hid behind a bush hoping Korra made it out ok. Soon after Amon places Tarlock in the truck they arrived in Korra jumps out the window, the sight of Amon causes her to run and Amon soon follows after her. I try to chase her but Amon sees me after Korra slid down the snowy hill, he grabs my chin and has his men tie me up. Great all that work to escape just to be captured again.
