Chapter 10 - Young Volcanoes

Karrie's Pov.

I woke up this morning. I'm 17. It's my birthday. But unfortunately I have a bad hangover which is from the stupid alcohol. I hate alcohol but I love it, it's just the after effect that I hate. "Phoenix!" I shout. She pulls the cutain back to reveal herself. Messy hair, Oversized top and the whole feature like she had just had sex. "Phoenix? What on earth?" She laughs saying, "Oh this haha, I promise nothing happened. I like slept for 2 hours, I'm practially awake. I couldn't sleep so this is the alcohol so yeah I'm feeling like the top of the world." She says well she read my mind because I was just about to ask her why she looked like that. "Meaning you still have alcohol in your body so you don't have a hangover? And because you love me can you get me Paracetamol and water thanks." I look at her and she giggles rolling on the floor. Bloody chemicals inside her body. "PHOENIX GET THE HELL UP AND GET THE GODDAMN TABLETS AND WATER!" She looks at me confused and I just give her the look of go and get them. Only if she knew why I shouted. Why can't she remember her past, this really answers the questions as to why we look the same. As to why she was hated so much by the family that put her in care. As to why we act like sisters. As to why we bond really easily. As to why we share the same aspects and as to why we share the same interests and to why I let this happen in the first place. She finally got the message and went to go get the water. She came back smiling with Patrick and Brendon. I took a sip of the water and threw in the 4 tablets Phoenix gave to me in my mouth then swallowed with another gulp of water. Then I was harassed by 'HAPPY BIRTHDAY!' From everyone. I smiled weakly from the hurricane happening inside my head right now and thanked every one. "Kara do you want some more rest? We can come back and give you your presents later?" I nodded, then everyone walked out. Brendon and Phoebe holding hands and Patrick smiling at me, winking and I blushed a little. Then I smashed my head against the pillow and let sleep destroy me.

Patrick's Pov.

I feel really sorry for Phoenix. We only say this now, when we adopted them, well when we first met them we spoke to Hayley the care-worker about the 2 girls. She told us that Phoenix and Karrie was in a tragic car accident killing their parents at a young age. They was both 6. Phoenix was rushed into hospital and was in a coma for 6 weeks until she finally woke up with amnesia. She lost the last 6 years of her life. If you haven't of guessed yet but Karrie is Phoenix's sister. That's why we asked them if they were sisters because Hayley told me some things can trigger her memory back but then can lead her into a state of which she would be in depression and try to commit suicide. So we tried taking a caution on this but that didn't work. We might as well lie a bit. Karrie is Phoenix's full on sister. She changed her name, well Hayley did after she found out that Phoenix could die. But now they kinda are back together again because of the sister bond thay have and they live together with us so yeah their sister bond has always been strong.

Karrie's Pov.

About 2 hours later I finally woke up feeling a whole lot better then 2 hours ago. I got out of bed and stumbled into the living room to see Brendon and Phoenix cuddling up together asleep on the sofa and Patrick in the armchair reading his interview with Kerrang! I think. I stumbled over to him, scaring him during the process and sat on his lap. He lifted my chin up for me to see his gorgeous eyes that sparkled like a million diamonds. He was scanning my face, then all of a sudden our lips collided and I felt like the world stopped. I nearly died from how amazing this felt. He pulled away and rested his head on mine whispering "Scare me again and that will be your punishment." I blushed and tried to scare him again. About 5 minutes later of trying to scare him I gave up and was about to get of his lap when I decided to just kiss him. He was actually enjoying this. "Happy Birthday." He said between breaths. I pulled away looking at him with the look I always give when I want something. "Err Karrie let's take the relationship further before we think about that." I laughed waking up Brendon and Phoenix saying "Oh My God you IDIOT! I mean I gave you that look meaning I WANT ME PRESENTS!" I was laughing so hard I fell on the floor rolling around. God that was funny. About 5 minutes later I had calmed down. And I was given a shit ton on presents. From Phoenix I got American Beauty/ American Psycho album and knee high converse and a marvel film. From Patrick I got a kiss and Thorpe Park and Marvel things like tops, shoes, wristbands etc. And finally from Brendon I got tickets to Cadbury world! And Phoenix was as well! Yes sister bonding time. Then a messy Ryan Ross walked into the living room wearing nothing but boxers and we all turned away as he ran back into Brendon's room grabbing Joggers and Over sized shirt. He walked back out fully clothed and handed me a gift. It was in an envelope and once I opened it I screamed. Which hurt my head so badly but I Don't Care! It's a meet up with Of Mice And Men! OH MY GOD I COULD DIE RIGHT NOW! I ran and hugged him so tightly Patrick had to rip me off him. And I thanked everyone for the amazing gifts they gave me. Then there was a knock on the door and Patrick answered it and signed something walking back in with 2 big parcels of something. One for me and the other for Phoenix. Then another knock on the door with another 2 big parcels for us two. We gave each other a 'wtf' look and then Patrick closed the door sitting down letting us open what it was. I got a HD TV Flat Screen and so did Phoenix with an X-Box 1 and PS4. We also got guitars. I got a lead and Phoenix got bass. My she was always on about how she misses playing her bass. We thanked them so much Phoenix taking the X-box 1 and me the PS4 walking into our room with Patrick and Brendon holding out TV's I guess living like this was so fantastic! I could actually get used to this.
