Chapter 14 - Irresistible

Karrie's Pov.

I can't believe they looked through her diary! Oh well.

Tonight is my party with the family. I can't wait because it will be fun!

Pete, Patrick, Brendon, Ryan, Phoenix, everybody who is apart of my family. Tonight is the official night that I become a near adult just one more year, even though my 17th birthday was a few days ago, I say that you need a party then your officially that age! Weird I know.

I walk into Phoenix's room to see how she is doing and I see her asleep hugging a picture. I'm guessing that it is the lyric pic. I walk closer to her and crouch down at her side. Kissing her forehead, whispering "You'll find out the truth one day. Sadly you don't want to know." Then I see her tear stained cheeks and the picture and I was wrong, it was a picture of Ryan. I grabbed her diary off of the side and looked at the page Brendon and Patrick were looking at. Even I didn't know the thing about Ryan until I looked at it, the word scribbled out said Ryan. Phoenix Melody Jackson Urie loves George Ryan Ross! Oh My God. Well he is a very dashing fellow I must say. Those eyes are pretty dreamy.

Anyway I walk out of her room before she wake up and dye my hair because I'm bored of blonde and purple highlights. I dye it blue and some green through my fringe. Then I wash it out and then relax in my bath.

I was thinking about that party Phoenix had for her birthday, where Patrick kissed me and said 'I guess it was to do we with my feelings.' His feelings! But then my mind went somewhere I didn't want it to go, I'm underage. Patrick broke the law but no one needs to know we was drunk and it was only a game yet like I said Feelings! Feelings! Oh My God. I think he will wait if I say something. I don't know anymore. I see a Lush bag out the corner of my eye it is labelled Karrie and its from our orphanage as a present. I reach over to it and picked out the unicorn horn and felt it fizz up on my leg. It tickled it and I laughed at it. I hear the door creak open and see Phoenix walk in. "Oh sorry Karrie I had no idea you was in here!" She walked out and closed the door. At least I had the shower curtain closed. About 10 minutes later I decided to get out as my fingers were getting wrinkly and wrapped a bright green towel around me. I walked out letting Phoenix go in and have a shower. "Oh My God Karrie I love your hair! I prefer that colour and style!" I say thanks and get changed into my Pierce The Veil world tour shirt and my grey sparkly shorts, my sleeping with sirens beanie and my black trainers. I walk into Phoenix 's room after I knocked in the wall to see if she was decent. She was wearing a Panic tee and red and black jeans with her orange converse and a fall out boy beanie. "Nice, let's go down stairs and watch a flim." I say to her. It is only 5pm so I have 2 hours until everyone gets here.

We get down stairs and everyone well Patrick and Brendon are sitting down. "Can we watch Big Hero 6?" Phoenix says. Patrick nods "We all have to sing okay!" I say they laugh and nod and Patrick places the DVD in the player.

Phoenix starts crying straight away "I'm sorry but it is emotional!" She argues. I laugh and continue watching it. Soon enough Immortals was playing and we all started screaming the lyrics. It's nice that a family can do this, like enjoy the same as each other and be involved with everyone other than just ignoring them like most people do, it's pretty cool.

Soon after the film finished and Phoenix was in tears "I'm so sorry I'm being really stupid but I can't help it, anyway." She says wiping her tears from her face. "Lets go get ready! I'll put a bit of make up on then I'll clean up a bit and make sure drinks and all are set up. Then yeah." Phoenix finishes. I nod and go to my room. I put my iPod on the deck and let spotify take over with the music. The first song to play was High School Never Ends by Bowling For Soup. As I was singing along I looked in the mirror that the guys have finally brought and put in my room, I applied some mascara and eyeliner. Then I put my hair up in a messy bun and got changed. I want to look nice for this occasion. I walk into the bathroom and washed my cheeks because they were boiling and brushed my teeth. I walked back into my room to see a bag placed on my bed. A note taped to the bag. It read:

Happy birthday Karrie!

Hope you like your birthday present because I brought it myself.

I open the bag and peek inside. I pull it out and open it up. It was perfect. I don't really wear these but Oh My God this was amazing. It was a dress that had rips at the bottom it was like a tutu at the bottom, it had red and green strips through it, also it had a black top to it which had chains that were different colours. It was so pretty. And it came with gloves which had studs on it and a bracelet which has spikes on it. To be honest I fell in love with it. I looked in my mirror and smiled at how perfect it was. I shout to Phoenix to see if she was decent and she was so I walked in spinning around and thanking her so many times! She laughed then I saw what she was wearing. She had the same dress on a me but the colours on the tutu was different instead it was red and blue but everything else was the same.

We walked down the living room and they smiled at us. Everyone in my new family was there. I hugged them all and they gave me presents. We put on some music and danced the night away. Soon enough it was 9pm which went in a flash. The lights went dark and I stood there not knowing what to do. "Hey Karrie it's me I'm only putting a blindfold on you so don't freak out." Brendon says calmly. A blindfold? Oh a surprise! I heard the door open then close a few minutes later. Brendon takes the blindfold off and then Patrick puts the lights back on and every single band person who I loved was there! I was crying and hugging everybody. They gave me all gifts and then Patrick took them up to my room.

We danced all night and got a bit drunk. Oops haha oh well. It was well and truly 2am which went so quickly to be honest. I managed to crash out on the sofa. Well that what happened when I'm drunk.

Patrick's pov.

I picked up Karrie and placed her in bed. Kissing her lips and whispering "I'll wait for you." Smiling I put a note next to her bed from me and one from me and Brendon about the tour. My she will be amazes when she finds out.

I love Karrie but the law is a law. Over 18. Only one year to go Patrick one year.
