Chapter 12

Today is the big day, Jins audition the day that could change his and his familys life forever.

The kids were spending the day with Namjoons mother while Namjoon, Jins parents and San were accompanying Jin on his big day.

Namjoon had to admit, he was probably more nervous than Jin was, they all stood off to the side and watched the other auditions. Jin was sat down with other people waiting to audition.

"I told Jin to have some thick skin going into his audition, they wont say much to you but sometimes they can and its usually not that great." Mentioned San while they watched the next person go inside.

"I hope they dont say something to hurt his feeling, hes been up and down on his confidence about this audition lately" Said Namjoon as he fidgeted.

"Dont worry, he performed flawlessly last night when we did our last mock audition" reassured San.

Namjoon smiled and nodded, he saw Jin smiling and talking to the person next to him.

"I wish we could go in there with him, it would boost his confidence a lot"

They continued to talk until they heard the name theyd been waiting to hear, "Next, Kim Seokjin".

Jin looked over and saw all of them giving him a thumbs up and encouraging smiles. He smiled back before entering the room.

Jin felt nervous and excited at the same time, " Whats your name?" one of the judges asked.

"Kim Seokjin"

"Alright, proceed"

Jin slightly bit his bottom lip to calm himself down and took a deep breath.

"Remember, its just another small performance its just you and the three judges. Act as if they aren't there and its just us practicing"

Jin remembered Sans advice and started his audition, his moves were perfect and in sync just as he practiced. He had to stay calm so his voice wasnt shaky.

His vocal sounded as smooth as can be, each word being heard clearly and his voice filled with emotion, you could practically hear the passion in his voice.

Jin saw the three beginning to write on their papers in front of them. He only hoped that was a good sign.

Once he finished his audition he waited to be dismissed, "You have a beautiful voice, well let you know by next week have a good day"

Jin was shown out, he couldn't help but smile as he left the room and was greeting by San, Namjoon and his parents.

He received hugs from them all and congratulations from them, "im so proud of you my baby!" his mother said as she gave him a bone crushing hug.

"Eomma, a-air" Jin wheezed as he hugged back, she chuckled and let him go.

"We could hear some of your singing, you did amazing Jinnie, lets go have a celebratory lunch!" Cheered Namjoon as they exited the building.

"So if I passed will I be able to practice with you San?" asked Jin.

"Well you'd be a trainee so no but you wouldnt be able to anyway, Im not allowed to practice at the moment" Explained San.

"Woah woah woah, back up a minute. What did you do? Why cant you practice?" questioned Namjoon.

"Well funny story, I was playing with Mingi in our backyard yesterday, I tripped and sprained my ankle so the company wants me to take a rest"

"Yet youre here at my audition not getting rest." said Jin.

"Hey I wasnt going to miss your audition after all my amazing training!" Defended San.
