Chapter 28

"Please Joon, I'm all he has biological wise." Pleaded Changbin, who was on the verge of tears.

"Changbin, I have to enlist just like you. It's taking a toll on me too." Said Namjoon as he wiped away tears.

The time Namjoon dreaded ever since Yoongi was born was creeping up soon, time to enlist in the military.

Jin was granted an extra 2 year exemption, so when Namjoon would get back, Jin would have to enlist.

Changbin was in the same boat as Namjoon. However, he didnt want to leave Felix. Chan would have to go back to Australia before his service ended, so he had no idea where to send Felix.

"Have you talked to Jin about your enlistment? You're the top photographer, our boss will lose business with both of us gone." Said Changbin.

"I havent really mentioned it, I mean we both know its coming up, but we havent discussed it."

Namjoon didnt want to leave his family for 2 years. He felt like his heart couldnt take it.

Would he be able to handle it? His youngest would be 5 when he returned...missing 2 years of his children's lives.

"Felix isnt going to handle it well." Said Changbin, frowning.

"Maybe I can talk to Jin. But if Jin goes on tour while I'm gone...I dont know what to do." Namjoon ran his hands through his hair.

He was beyond stressed out, sure the kids could stay at his Eommas house while Jin went on tour, but what would he do if that wasnt possible?

"Jins brother likes the kids right?" Asked Changbin.

"Wait, you're on to something." Namjoon quickly wrote down a few things in his notes.

"When's enlistment again?" Asked Namjoon.

"Next week. Then we leave the following Monday."

"I'll talk to Jin about Felix. Now it's time to go home and relax." Said Namjoon as he slung his bag onto his shoulder.

He winced in pain. "You alright Joon?" Asked Changbin.

"Yeah, just my shoulder hurts sometimes. It got hurt in that car crash years ago." Explained Namjoon.

He finally headed out to the car, putting his bag in the passenger seat and going to pick the kids up.

Namjoon was on the phone with Seokjung while he waited for the kids, "its come up so quick."

"Well, I already did my service, but I'd be happy to help with the kids. You said your friend needs help too?" Asked Seokjung.

"Yeah, his boyfriend would have to go back to Australia before hes done serving, and hes just nervous about the whole thing."

"Oh, I see, well I'm happy to help in anyway I can." Replied Seokjung.

"Thanks, I really appreciate it."

"No problem,  tell the kids and Seokjin I said hi. I have to start my shift now, bye!"

The kids were walked out just as Seokjung hung up. Namjoon smiled as he saw them all get in.

"Hi boys." Greeted Namjoon, they all said hi back, he began driving to his moms to pick up Jungkook.

"Appas gotta talk to you all when we get home okay?"

"Are we in trouble?" Asked Hoseok.

"No baby, I just have to talk to you all." Namjoon smiled in the rearview mirror.
