It wasn't long before Ginny met up with Luna again. They spent the next week chatting whenever they could, walking each other to classes, meeting up in the library and all sorts of odd places
Umbridge prowled the school nowadays and after her latest degree: No students from different houses may spend time together Luna and Ginny's 'friendship' had become illegal. The room of requirement had proved to be very useful one particular Thursday afternoon when the were were chatting and found Mrs Norris and Filtch walking along the corridor.
They're weren't event talking about anything very interesting, Luna was telling Ginny about her charm class where Seamus had blown up Ron's charms theory book when they heard footsteps.
"Quick"whispered Luna harshly and the two of them ducked behind a statue of armour.
Ginny peered out from behind the shield to see Filtch and Umbridge walking down the corridor.
"So when do the students arrive?" growled Filtch
"The Inquisitorial Squad should be here any moment to help look for the Weasley and the Lovegood girl. They were seen walking off earlier and are suspected to be involved in some sort of romantic relationship." Replied Umbridge in her sickly sweet voice.
"Two girls?"
"Yes Filtch two girl's liking each other in a romantic way and from different houses as well. What has this school come to they should be sent to Azkaban for liking the same gender" Umbridge perkily spoke.
Ginny breathed in sharply but Luna put a comforting hand on her shoulder and Ginny simmered down again. She wanted to go and punch Umbridge, throw a million hexes at her but she knew she mustn't, Umbridge was a much more experienced witch than her and she had the whole ministry behind her.
Ginny waited until not one click of Umbridges tiny pink heels could be heard before turning to Luna.
"What are we going to do? Draco and the other Slytherins will be here any moment!"
Luna who always took a calmer more methodical approach to problems spoke with a certain calmness in her voice that calmed Ginny although secretly Luna didn't feel very calm herself.
"We'll find something I promise you"
The crew out from behind the armour and wands out they began to walk down they hallway. All that Ginny could think about was how much she wanted to hide from the inquisitorial Squad. She needed a place to go. As just as she was hoping desperately for a hiding spot a large wooden door materialised in one of the walls.
"Of course, The Room of Requirement" Breathed Luna
