"Mommy, can I go pway wid Shayne outside?" a 3 year old Y/N asked.
"I don't know, Y/N. You remember what happened last time," a concerned Blaze answered.
"Aw, Mommy! I pwomise to be more cawful."
"Blaze, just let her go outside. She's been cooped up for too long!" a new voice said.
"Ugh, Silver! Stop always taking her side! One day it's going to get us ALL in trouble!"
"If it makes you feel any better, I'll watch her."
"Ugh, fine! Just be careful!"
"We will, don't worry!"

'If only that were true...I wouldn't be alone...I wouldn't be changed...I wouldn't be a monster. Yet, I am those things. And I can't change it, no matter how hard I try,' Y/N thought to herself.
A rustle in the bushes behind her caused her to jump up from where she was standing and panic.
"Whoa, easy there, tiger! Don't want ya passing out from breathing like that," an all too familiar voice said, the owner putting his arm around her voice.
"H-Hi, Jinx," Y/N replied, softly.
"So, whattup?"
"No-Nothing much...you?"
"Eh, same...whatcha doin' tonight?"
"I...I don't know."
"Wanna go to the movies with me?"
I nodded shyly, too scared to say no. Honestly, I just wanted Jinx to leave me alone. But him being him, no matter how hard I try, he will ALWAYS be right behind me. He walked me to the movie theater, and I noticed a certain black and red hedgehog sitting on a bench in the corner. If I were to be honest, I would say I like him. But I don't want to say anything.
Because what if he doesn't like me back?
