Chapter 21 - Looming Evil and Their Fallout

*Y/N PoV*

I slowly open my eyes as I stir awake, just after having to see vestiges of the previous users of One For All.

Y/N: "*groan* h-huh?"

Once my vision sets in, I could see that I was facing a white ceiling with small lights illuminating me.

I sit straight up and check myself, only to find out that I am not pleased with what I was wearing.

Y/N: "Hospital robes?" I grimaced.

I was wearing the clothes that patients usually wear at hospitals. I was on a white bed with curtains at my left and right sides, I look to my hand and see various wires connected to my wrists. Beside my bed was a dextrose stand that my wires were connected to.

It fazes me that I am in at what appears to be an hospital. Was I unconscious for a long time? Who brought me here? What happened after the I-Island raid?

???: "I see that you're awake Y/N." I hear a familiar voice as the curtains to my left opens to reveal a doctor wearing goggles.

Y/N: "Dr. Kyudai?"

Kyudai: "Long time no see Y/N." He smiles at me.

I've met him countless times before as he was the one who keeps my father back in health. I would say that i'm on a neutral basis with him since he patched me up many times before, and even did some tests on me to make sure that I was holding on to life from the hellish torture that I was all too involved with.

It's just that he's sometimes crazy that I really don't want to involve myself with him.

Y/N: "W-Why am I here?" I ask him.

Kyudai: "Hikari and Tairitsu brought you here to my clinic three weeks ago. I was pretty surprised at the state you were in, you were breathing heavily as if you were asphyxiating and your temperature could rival that of a heater."

...wait, did he just say...

You were in a coma for three weeks.

Y/N: "T-Three weeks?!" I gasp.

Kyudai: "Yes, and I have to to say, you missed a lot of interesting things Y/N." He pulls out a tablet from his coat and gives it to me. "I'd say that you earned a name for yourself, but I wonder if you see this as infamy." He mentions.

I looked at him confused before seeing the screen on the tablet. The screen showed me a video clip of some sorts with a button to play it. I was hesitant to tap it for some reason, but I brushed it off and tapped it anyway.

The scene shows the chaos filled view of I-Island from above. Fires, gunshots, and sounds of a helicopter came out of the tablet speakers.

Yuka: 'Look down below everyone! The esteemed island of scientists is now an island of chaos!'

I suddenly heard Yuka's voice from the tablet which shocked me for some reason.

Yuka? Why is she there.......wait!

I suddenly remember the time when we rode the helicopter, she had a video cam on her and said that she was recording. And that could mean one thing...

No... she wouldn't..

The video then cuts to a scene where my nightmares came true. It was the part where I took All Might's One For All.

I saw myself crouching down to his level while I put my hand on his forehead as I activate All For One.
