"What? You got me Anthem Lights tickets?! You're the best!" I exclaim, hugging my step dad, Josh.
"No problem, Mia, anything for you," he says kissing my forehead.
I run upstairs, and text my friends to tell them the news. I also send out a tweet, and make an Instagram post.
I decide that before the concert, which is two weeks away, I want to record a CD for the guys, telling them all the stuff I won't get to tell them at the meet&greet.
"Mia! Dinner! Mom got Chick-Fil-A!" My older brother Jaxon exclaims. I rush downstairs, eager for chicken.
I sit down at the table, next to my little sister Meghan, and my mom blesses our food. With the blessing said, we all dig in.
"Mom! Josh got me Anthem Lights tickets!" I exclaim. She nods,"I helped him buy them." I grin, "I should've known that he didn't but them on his own."
Josh raises his arms in defense, "Hey! It was my idea though!" I smile, "Sure it was!" He laughs, "Shut up and eat your chicken."
I laugh, and return my attention to my dinner. I grab a few more waffle fries, and Sprite, and race towards the stairs.
"I'm gonna record a CD for the guys! Don't bother me!" I exclaim, glaring at Jaxon. He rolls his eyes, "Why would I do that?"
I walk upstairs, and set up my recorder, and begin recording.
"Alan, Chad, Caleb, Joey,
I'm recording this CD to tell you all the things I won't get to tell you. You've changed my life, for the better. Before I found you guys, I was drifting away from God, but you showed me the way. Thank you for that. Your songs mean the world to me, and I don't know where I'd be without your touching lyrics. You've impacted my life in a huge way, and I'd be lost without you guys. Thank you for leading me back to God. I love you guys more than words can describe. Thanks again, from me Mia!"I stop the recording, and wipe away my stray tears. I grab my laptop to burn a CD, once it's done I write, 'Here's Everything I Couldn't Say❤'
